nice! my next game was at home to sunderland (now managed by hyypia) and Torres who was taken out of the previous game because of injury, scored 6 most i've ever had by one player since Torres scored 5 against arsenal away in the 08 game. of course, i conceded a BS goal, since I just COULDN'T get the clean sheet. wankers....

I finished 5th in my first season with Genoa only losing out to Roma for 4th on head to head, no cheating. For my new season, I've signed Riquelme as the only weakness my team had was a lack of creativity. I expect to finish top 4 this season.

Can anyone recommend a striker in the mould of Eto'o or Martins, the type who can run onto through balls with a lot of pace?

used my formation from 2 seasons ago, with keirrison as a free-role support striker next to him, wingers and wingbacks, CM and DM. i think originally the tactic was designed with Torres and Keirrison in opposite positions, and while keirrison was good that season, he was nowhere near torres's current rate. shows what I know

the game after btw, won 4-0, Torres had a goal and two assists. In europe, i'm winning fine, but he's only scored 1 in 3, with 3 assists

He was great first season, but last season he was injured for a long time, and Bojan's form kept him from getting back in the team.

yeah, he's actually a lot better than his attributes would suggest. always surprises me. he did score 2 pens though...

torres has now not scored in 5 after scoring 27 in the first 16 games bloody annoying. he always has loads of "runs past other players" but clearly the AI has figured out my tactic
