but this wont change the whole expenditure....i mean DP-BUFFON-camo tiago trez etc will still earn about 400k per month,my income from gate receipts will be extremely low because olympico has only 25k seats...the way i see it i spend about 5 mil per month in wages and bonuses and all i need to do is sell some players and earn money from installements or renew contracts (although nobody would accept a wage cut)
Just kicked Barca out of the CL in the quarters.
I played 0-0 at Camp Nou, but I honestly don't know how I didn't loose. They had a gazzillion chances, and Buffon gave me a lifeline for the return.
So, as it was clear that playing my regular 442 would not give me the edge against a superior Barça team, I tried something crazy: attacking 433. DC-Mellb-Legro-Zebina | Hamsik-Sissoko-Camo | Del Pie - Amauri - Giovinco.
The game went crazy, hundreds of shots all over the place, incredible pace, yellow cards raining down, and at 60' all of my players were exhausted. Gradually entered Nedved, Trez and IQ. After FT still 0-0, and in the 107' Trez bagged a goal. I held strong for the remaining time and qualified for the semi's!
Ranieri could take a lesson here!

thats exactly what im doing
i never give any signing money to them
try to renew with 30-40k lower
but i get extremely mad when gigi wants 35k for each clean sheet or neddy wants 20k for appearance....i got neddy as key player and its 100% sure that he will be a regular but i guess hes is afraid that due to his age he aint sure if he would be a regular to my squad...i think i ll release him and play r.olivera as AML

speaking of long games...my 2008 liverpool game went past a month :dazed:
as for patches, the 9.2 patch fixes a lot of things, but in all honesty there are so many match engine bugs that it's tough to watch. [rant] wingers NEVER get closed down, any player can dribble wide to the byline, and then cut in to the box, with defenders shadowing him but never closing down. Defenders running sideways/backwards, leaving the striker to easily collect through balls and score. one-on-ones are still bs. The ball rebounds of players WAY too often, leading to idiotic goals. crosses are invariably knocked out for corners, the woodwork is hit way too often, and perhaps most annoying, ones strikers NEVER get rebounds, simply standing still after shooting instead of reacting and scoring, as often happens in real life. the AI strikers however have no problem reacting. Players will never react to opposition passes, simply running along their merry little way, even if the pass goes 1 foot in front of them! [/rant]

or you could probably find the latest one on torrent sites, also, when you start the game there should be an option to check for updates
oh, and it definitely is possible, and what's sad is that was not my first, nor my last, game with 2008

I played at medium tempo, i think I got to 2017 or something. by that point my squad was so good i could simply leave incredible prospects to other teams to buy, only getting players who should be bought "no matter what the cost". i had a great youth system by then, great scouting, etc. i could have bought excellent players just to keep them away from the likes of manu and inter, but in the end I never did that. I let them get away, confident that I had the best young players and system in the world.
