well i tried the demo but it wont even start the game , i get some kind of error message , can't remember what it said. well even the 08 goes slow on my comp i'm used to that so that wont be a problem if i manage to start the fucker

is fm 09 actually any good? ive heard alot of negative points and even people taking it back to stick with 08, for once in my cm/fm life ive never been so unenthusiastic about it, mostly about the 3d engine

Been there done that, still not working..

It says that my cd key is out of date :S and that I'm unable to connect to the internet. So stupid.. I have been reading in other forums that it is a global problem.. STEAM / FM2009 - bad combination I guess!

This will most likely be the last time I buy this game.

I just want to put in the CD, install, and play.
I don't want to have to install Steam, and go thru this all the time.

3 hours ago I got my copy, and I'm still not playing.
I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it.
Paying 50 euros for something, and still not being able to play it!

The customer seems to get screwed, this is not how you handle piracy.
You'll only make people angry and turn to piracy.

This seems to be one of the worst recieved FM's in recent history, and judging by the demo i'm not surprised. The developers spent too much time on a 3d match engine which the fans had no interest in and as a result other new features were completely overlooked.

On the day of the FM releases in previous years I have been in the shop at about 8:30 to buy a copy, this year i wouldn't have even rolled out of bed for one at the corner shop. I came on here to see if anyone would recomend it and so far nothing - it must be terrible!!

I think a lot of people are excited, the problem is that they stupidly underestimated the demand, so most people are having huge problems getting started. the whole activation process completely screwed everyone. just going to mean more people going to torrents

you see i was so disinterested in the whole run up to the game i missed this - what is the activation process for the new game? its not just simply an install and play?
