i won teh scudetto in teh first season btw. and the only purchase i did befroe teh season was Fernando Valera(D CR, MR) and then bought Mellberg mid season, though i didnt play him much... was pretty hard to beat Inter though... luckily, they had a few draws and a losses towards teh end...

the best thing though, i that im on a 23 game unbeaten run... whcih includes a 18 game winning streak! :weee: it came to an end when i drew with Inter...

anyways, i bought Huntelaar and Di Natale in the the transfer season again, but lost out on Joao Moutinho as Inter bought him for a bid a lil lesser than mine in value (38m and 40m+clauses). that is one guy i wanted to buy... he was awesome in FIFA 08, so thought he might be great here also!

long would be more interesting :D in a non sexual way that is...
Well I found over several seasons that it is just as good to have many CM's that play wide than wide-playing middies. The wide CM's tend to play just as wide, but are better all-around....the only lacking characteristic is the lack of pace and the lack of crossing. The overlap then is the strength, positioning, and stamina, which are most often rare in true outside players.

The key to my system working is unit....true lock-down hard-nose tall CB's, a playmaker DM (Pirlo-style) and a Center CM that can pass and do it "all"(Joao).

After you have those, the secondary parts are a good set of attacking backs, which I have, and a good set of "delpie's" up top.

The key to the whole system is the strikers. You cannot run my system and have a Trez or a Toni, the strikers have to be like Del Piero or Mutu..... Dribblers with pace and passing ability that can finish. This is why I get most goals from either outside CM's or on the counter.

But I again stress that the #1 key is a Pirlo-like DM, and the #2 is an all-around passer at my C-CM position.

    any questions?
