Nah, it's not, the same thing happened to me with the last 2,3 FMs. It's too unrealistic to play it nowadays.. Lets say I buy, just for example, Messi, Robinho, Dani Alves, Fabregas and Fernando Torres to Juventus, it just doesn't feel right. Before I thought it was fun but know it seems just stupid because I know something like that will never happen. I've grown over it, I suppose that's a natural course of events after being a fan of the game from '97.

lol this game has never been good
 you crazy? This is THE best football management simulation ever! I do agree that I'm not the fan I used to be 10 years ago, I play it less, but it's still the best game.
I guess I just realised all my football dreams, and it's no fun anymore of winning the CL with Union Berlin. Let alone with Juve.

Ah those were the days, I remember making a Euro force out of Nothingham or Wolves in good old CM. :D

You wanna have a challenge ? Buy FIFA Manager 07. I played it with a friend, me Tottenham, he Newcastle. Both got fired. That's quite different than winning CL with Union Berlin ;)

You could try other smaller leagues or crappier teams. That's what I do after I get tired with my Liverpool squads.

some bs from game

gyan asamoah(worst finisher I ever seen) has 16 finishing ability
Juventus have continental reputation while our rivals have worldwide
Ranieri's abilities lower than some unknown managers
Buffon is our key player always, different matches make no difference
media prediction 7th place of Serie A
Tiago and Almiron are average players
Trezeguet is much better scorer in real life
Marchisio is useless in game
we have no serious money while inter buying quaresma for 30 and milan buying amauri for 20

and some

Giovinco and Criscito are wonderkids
Buffon's reflex is finally 20
Jorge Andrade
Chiellini's long throws are 20,looks like they watched roma game :)

What I heard is that they haven't included the 08 DB in the demo. Which would mean you are propebly looking at skills that are reminiscent of last years.
