i have recently gotten back into Football Manager after a few months off. I realised that there was the 7.0.2 patch released so i downloaded that and applied it to my FM Folder after installing 7.0.1. After starting a new game, the 7.0.2 patch is not in effect and everything is how it was before and the transfers were not updated.
When opening fm editor, i load up the 7.0.2 database and find that the transfers have been done, but when starting a new game these transfers are not done. I dont understand what is going on, my FM isnt loading up the database properly. I have been playing FM for years and i know what i am doing in regards to updating my game, but this time i have no idea what is going on.

Please if somebody has any idea what the problem is, id greatly appreciate it as i am itching to play FM again.

It's been a while since I played FM so I don't really remember but look around the preferences, there's an option that looks something like from where the database is loaded. You probably have it pointed to load the 7.0.1 database instead of the updated 7.0.2. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, I really don't remember nowadays.

there is no option in the game at all which lets me choose which database i want to load. i have installed the patches into my game as i have done for years. i have never come across a problem with FM, i know what i am doing when it comes to patching, updating the game, etc. but this time im confused, i cant figure it out!

There is a option where you point from where the database is loaded, maybe it's not in the preferences, I actually think it's in the first window when you start a new game. Look around a little.

i have looked around so many times! there is nowhere i can choose to load to 7.0.2 database. this is very frustrating!!

nope, it is possible, and the same thing happened with me in first year of Serie A

hes good but nothing like as good as klose 4 times fifa world player of the year and scores at least 30 goals for me in the prem and germany didnt call him up for their wc

u cud try downloading my transfer update as of today and load that up instead, its based on the 7.0.2 patch
