I have started my first season in ages with Juve and haven't played much but looking at the following player:
Riquelme
Quaresma
Zarate

I need some decent defenders. Anyone reccomendations for the amount you start off with?

just completed this challenge to take an english 5th div team - st albans that has been placed in the prem with its original squad and 10 mill and the challenge is to win the CL asap.

first season i spent 5.5 mill on about 28 unknown players and secured 14th place

2nd season a very hefty transfer war chest, and secured the likes of amelia,riquelme,d'alessandro and klose for free, and just about won the prem on the last day and qual. cl

3rd season - further strengthened the squad for europe and won the CL all the domestic cups and the prem
