Jaroslav Sedivec: Never heard of him
Actually, didn't we own the guy for a while in late 90's?!

I believe that Bothroyd joined Blackburn Rovers.

edit: Oh shite:

Ah. Explains a lot. There are a few familiar names there, but are any of those people genuinely better than Juve's current squad (or indeed youth) players?
Do you follow the premiership mikhail? If you did you should remember Bothroyd, he was on loan at Blackburn and got sent off about 3 times :howler:

He also started at Arsenal, where they got rid of him cause of his attitude, same with Coventry, they sold him to Perugia cause of his attitude and Perugia loaned him cause they were relegated.

I had the pleasure of watching Bothroyd get sent off...awfull player, all he has is flashy skills, thats it......

Kinda like a english/black/tall/cheaper version of cassano.

Juventus have a very high standard for the kind of players who can contribute to Juventus. None of those players will work. For Juventus to maintain their level of competition and quality, they need to be able to pick and choose from a pool of quality players. AKA other clubs who are willing to part with quality players for some green.

:D

Might I add though, some of those clubs aren't exactly quality material either. We've experimented extensively with the likes of Paramatti, Baiocco, Leggrotaglie etc.

Unfortunately that wasnt the norm, until Capello took over. Now we're just about building the team on only well noted players. It may win us a few trophies, but I think it would be a lot cooler if we actually picked up these young lads from these clubs and made champions out of them. Quite the same way we did Zidane, Zambrotta and even to a certain extent Zalayeta.

PS: I got carried away with the Z names theres, Del Piero and Vieiri are a few more names I'd throw into that list.

A fair bit. I still don't remember that. Maybe it was just too traumatic. ;)

The vultures have come in to strip those clubs clean of any player for free.

I mean really waht dumbass came up with this rule, so it means a club gets relegated because of their financies, only to lose an viable means of producing any income because all their players leave on free transfers, its sad, i feel sorry for the clubs involved

The rule is there to say, "Don't overspend, or you'll get screwed".

well, maybe is becouse if a club is declare in financies problems that measn that they can'y pay the contracts that they have with their players, thats why they have to break those contracts and leave them go for free...

So, if they have problems, how could they pay those players?

But again, Im just guessing :D

Still doesnt make the situation sad in my opinion.

They could of at least been allowed to sell them, not freebies for all

The reason clubs get into problems in the first place is they overspend on the assumption that success will pay for everything. I'm aways happy to see that fail, because if it succeeded, it would force everyone to overspend, threatening the stability of the league. You'd have a bankruptcy every year.

With the actual situation of teams such as, Torino, Salernitana and Perugia several player are avaible for free in the market.

Now, I know this sounds cruel, but, well life is cruel :D

Should we look in those teams to see if they have some quality players so we can use for backup

    What do you guys think?
I'd be gutted if we can't at least get someone from that pool...
