dp shall stay in juve forever !!!!!!!!!!

u should suppot another team if i like to see juve without dp
I respect your opinion. I mean if you like DP that is your thing, but to say to change a team because some of us we do not agree in having DP that is ridiculous. Juventus existed long before DP and a player doesn't make a team...so if DP will eventually change team I will suggest you to follow him in his new adventure, but don't fake cheer a team that u don't care...You probably cheer Juve just because DP is in it...which is not a bad thing, its just that this forum is called JUVENTUZ.COM not DEL PIEROZ.COM...jesus!

DP is done, actually after his big injury was done and all the years every single DP fan hopes for a comeback and every freakin years is the same ol story...DP is worthless, is never incisive and just scores against medium/small teams. Never decisive in a big game. He plays foward and his numbers are pathetic, cannot dribble no more, can't barely score from a free kick, cannot even take good corners...I mean should we keep a player that only knows how to score PK´s??? I rather have another type of player.

We need to move on. DP gave his best between 95 and 98 unlucky for him and for us got injured and that broke his promising career. Now is just a mere shadow of what it was, with some flashes...Just like Lippi should go I think DP should do the same. A winning side came to an end, now lets restart a new winning side...lets not live in the past...If we moved on with players like Vialli,R.Baggio,Zidane...I think we could definitley do the same with DP...

My two cents and a half...

I think DP is Past it but I will support him as long as he wears a juve jersey. We all owe him that much 4 his loyalty alone. I mean I 4 one don't have a short term memory I know what he has done 4 us in the past & what he is capable of but it seems some fans here want him 2 play every game regardless of his form.I think we should give someone else a try & make him fight 4 his place.

Okay guys, we get the point: Del Piero is a Juventus icon and is one of the symbols of the past decade. He's our captain and a great professional.

But think with your heads for a second, not with your hearts.

Do you really think that Del Piero is the best player for the job? Can we really rely on him to put in inspirational performances every match? My opinion is no. He's inconsistent at best, and it can be downright frustrating to see him sluggish and uninspired.

Look at Henry at Arsenal for example. Whenever he gets the ball, you can sense that he's gonna do something great, or at least be a danger to the opposition. Sadly, the same can't be said of post-injury Del Piero.

What a great truth! Everytime DP gets the ball I know that...

    a)either his gonna go down...

    b) his gonna lose the ball attepting some useless trick...

    c) his gonna try to run with it...and of course gonna get caught....slow as hell

d)try a one-two but of course to lazy to run and consequently will lose the ball...

    e) get fouled.

I always hope for e) so at least we get a free kick.

I think that's a pretty stubborn attitude that can only be bad for Juve if Del Piero keeps performing (or underperforming should I should) as he does

Why are u all focusing on DP alone .... He is not our worst player ... There is a group of players we should think about getting rid of them first ... I would agree on selling Dp if he was the worst, but as long he is one of the best Juve players we should keep hin ....

Dp is oyr no.10 ... he is the captain and he is the source of confidence in the team ... and even in his worst days he kept giving to juve (32 seria A goals in two seasons = 2 scudettos)

    He deserves more respect ....

Whats wrong with Mutu? Are u critizing a player that ruled in Italy his last season? against a player that is pratically non existant...gimme a break!

If Juventus sold Zidane, trust me we can definitely sell DP! so u can keep all the  to yourself...and try to be more objective...

    mutu?

    MY TWO CENTS:

    Answer: No.

    Here is why:

Background: Yes the Del Piero is Juve arguement is valid on some level but in the end ANYONE can be sold for the right price. The "green" and lust for greed is greater than any loyalty or love of a player. Juve has demonstrated this over and over...usually it was a brilliant move albeit not "adored" by the tifosi. However, you cannot base your conclusion on this arguement because it is weaker than ever. Del Piero was probably 15-20% of Juve this season and in the last FEW years has not been the leading force. Yes Del Piero=Juve but there is a time you have put emotions to the side ESPECIALLY when the player can be a liability. I don't think THIS is the case. I am just trying to say that this arguement does not fly here. At this point its more vital for Milan to keep Costacurta than Juve to keep Del Piero...see the point?

    - I'm not sure if anyone addressed this but Del Piero's price tag will be not be a biblical proportions..once upon a time Moggi and the gang could have gotten a nice chunk of change for Alex but nowadays will they really pull off another MONEY MAKING deal like Vieri, Zidane, etc? NO WAY. Money is not what it used to be...Teams are ageing and the last thing they want is another RISKY unreliable...unpredictable purchase. Thus, in financial terms it is not worth it. The financial gain will not be greater than the loss.
More over, on the financial note an ITALIAN attacker in Italy is like CAVIAR to a team. The advertising possiblities and popularity is something which no foreigner no matter HOW popular in Italy can match. I know it sounds weak but its true. When you have a big ITALIAN name....a marketable name with a reputation ..it is very rare.

    - If Del Piero is to shine or RISE again it will be with the team he knows and the team he 'loves' (or so he says like all of them). In a new team there is the risk of not adapting, not fitting in, being benched, etc. etc. etc. Juve and Del Piero have been going in cycles..if he has anything to give it is to Juve. I feel that to give up Del Piero woul literally be the end of any chemistry in the team. I see DP as the link between the young and the old and the players in their prime.

Ok this arguement is beginning to be weak so I'll stop...

those are my black and red two cents...
