If DP was such an arse, can you honestly tell me if DV and Miccoli could actually do more? Although DP was not as good as he was he is still valuable on the pitch.
good point sally! :thumb:

Del Piero needs to be sold period. I've been saying this for 2, 3 yrs now. Pople keep hoping he will get back his world class form...please wake up! DP just goes downhill and every season more and more. Not to mention that now he gets injured more often and then needs like 6 motnhs to get a decent form...Lets get good money out of him before is too late. I think the only idiot that wants to buy him its Abramovich let him have it and maybe get an exchange with Mutu...Icons don't win titles...world class players yes.

Sorry about the double posting but there seem to be 2 different threads for this.

Del Pedro has never been the same as what he used to be like before he got injured against Real Madrid in the Champions League final. I WAS a very big Del Pedro fan but since then he has never been the same. I mean this in the context of playing as a striker. All he does it take penalties, and take on one or two players in a match, just going round in circles. If he wants to play like this, why not play him behind proper strikers where he do his fancy passes and tricks and have someone up front tp partner Trezeguet and at least score some goals.
Del Pedro was playing in this position earlier in the 1st Lippi era so why not again?
A person shouldn't be bigger than the club.

well, del piero will be can play for two or three more years.
as Lili said, he won't be able to play his ussual game when he is 32. so i think del piero will end career with juve, or at least he will leave juve at 32 .

Could Paris get rid of Eiffel Tower?
Could Egypt get rid of the Pyramids?
Could Juve get rid of Del Piero?
Could Milan get rid of Maldini?
Could Roma get rid of Totti?

Answer is simple:
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Del Piero no longer a Juventino??? No way José! A Juve without Del Piero is like a car without wheels.. Not a good combination, huh?

If i could decide i say we keep Del Piero until he's in his thirties and then offer him a coach-job. Just like Roberto Bettega who is a Juventino for life - imo...

'nuf said..

Forza Del Piero!

Whats wrong with Mutu? Are u critizing a player that ruled in Italy his last season? against a player that is pratically non existant...gimme a break!

If Juventus sold Zidane, trust me we can definitely sell DP! so u can keep all the  to yourself...and try to be more objective...
