Nobody loses respect for Del Piero, there are just 2 different opinions on it. The first one is keeping Del Piero permanently here, the second one is selling him to get more money or better players. Both have its pros and cons. Del Piero might be the bandiera of Juve and it's quite obvious Juve won't sell him just yet, but Juve do sell their stars sometimes.

If DP was such an arse, can you honestly tell me if DV and Miccoli could actually do more? Although DP was not as good as he was he is still valuable on the pitch.
