i guess moggi will resing and let you sell him for 10 million.. DP in you're dictionary (anything) BUT he is everything for juve fans.

even me !!!!

excuse me ........................ Kid ?

Juve fans ? what the **** do you know about JUVE fans. i am a juve fan, andy is a Juve fan, Zlatan and co are juve fans, and because we are Juve fans that we try and think in terms of the team, which is juventus, whats best for Juventus the team that we are fans of.

and dont worry my fellow "juve" fan. dont be surprised to see alex shipped to another team, you think this is about feelings ? this is bussiness and once he stops selling jerseys he might be out.
the only reason that he might retire here is that we dont get any "decent" offer.
and try to talk about Juventus when talking about juve fans

delpiero for life he probably is he second best scorer for juventus history but right now 10 million would be more than enough for him ... maybe a couple of years back we culd ve gotten 40 or even 50 mills when he was at his peak and young

I've had enough of this DP talk.
This bashing is a bit over the top to be honest. I really get the feeling on this site that people are bashing Del Piero, just for the sake of bashing him, similar to the Camoranesi bashing.

The Del Piero I have seen this season has been more dan a decent player. A Player who can still contribute a lot to the current team.
Almost all, if not all of his goals this season have been winning goals. Plus, he is topscorer together with Capello 's oh so precious Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
And that, while the latter has had about the double of the former's playing time.
Things have gone that far with DP, that I hope Alex scores if he plays on sunday, because if he doesn't he'll be subbed in the 60th minute even if he has played a great game. Scoring a goal will at least give him playing time untill the 70th minute..

The Alessandro Del Piero I know is also so much more than just a forward in our team. His meaning to the club off the pitch, the experience he brings to the side, him being a symbol and fan favourite is important as well.
Del Piero is the ambassador of Juventus FC off the field so this talk of him going to japan is ludacrous.

Frankly i'm getting sick and oh so tired of this Zlatan overrating and DP underrating.
People should finally learn to stop comparing DP to the '1998 DP', Zlatan, Mutu, Adriano or whoever.
Alex Del Piero is a very fine player in his own right, so treat him that way!

And that's all i have to say about that....

yeah i did prove it specially when i said History can not be understood by kids.

History wont get you success, it's today that matters

Today's matter with Juve adminstration is not like you're thinking. like you the only one who is looking for the benefit for the binaconeri instead of them by selling DP even with 100 MIL $

For you're informations :

Milan recieved a big offer for paolo maldini from man unt on 1994 after italy lose the world cup against brazil . man unt was domainating the PL in UK while maldini was 25 years old . but the chairman Silvio Berlusconi refused the offer cuz he counts maldini as parisi( boys of milan). so he is with milan forever from march 2003.

DP recieved an offer from Milan on 1997 after Juve won The CL for 28 Million dollars (on that time ) and cuz he's a value for juve. not about the Price as you said. (success) like you the one who know how is juve is Gonna success by you are advices.. the Juve adminstration refused the offer with no discusion at all while the player (DP) said i am Gonna end career with balck and white.

now

we all know that DP for the last 2 years dropped big time and we did not see from him the things that we have expceted this time.

but

This is a word i should say it you in here

Juve won't sell DP for 1 dollars or for 100 million. even if the 100 million dollars will make you the richest ?

do not think i am a DP fan.. i am a Juve fan

but i am talking in logical way that can make me feel Right about this issue.

You are not talking in a logical way. It is logical to keep Maldini in 94 when he was 25 as he was a great player, it was logical for Juve to refuse Milan's offer for Del Piero as he was one of the worlds top 3 players then, but it is not logical to keep a player that has been below Juve standard for 6 years, and give him one of the highest salaries in the world when he is nowhere his old self or even in the worlds top 50 players.

IMO, all players should be sold at the age of 29, 30 at most, as to get the most value out of them before their form and price starts to drop.

That's not logical either, because if ALL players were to be sold by that age, and by your assumption, all clubs shouldn't buy older players.. given that players are human and their ages increase, this leads to a contradiction.
Selling an over 29 or 30 year old player implies the purchase of that player by another club.
Therefore, the proposition of "all players should be sold at the age of 29, 30 at most" is impossible and thus not logical.

My vacation has lasted a bit too long I think. Don't worry, classes start next week. :D

That's just stupid. I'll agree that selling players just after they peak is a wise business move, but you've also got to think about continuity in a squad. Most players don't mature fully until 27 or 28 years of age, so you'd only have really good players in your squad for a year or two until thier sold. You'd never be able to build a team like that. Furthermore, what about goalkeepers? The generally accepted opinion is that keepers hit their peak at 31 or 32, why sell them at 29 or 30?

I dont completely agree. Of course most players peak at around 27/28, but there are also players who might peak at 23 or 24 (like Buffon for example). And this was just an example, there is no fixed rule, I just believe that players should be sold right before the drop in value becomes too steep for their contribution to the team: That would mean that some players should stay at the club longer if their performances can justify the loss in value. That is not the case with Del Piero.
