if there is the chance to snap up mascherano for less than aquamans price i'd go for mascherano. i would only keep aquaeyes if there was no quality midfielder on the market at all...

having mascherano and melo would at least leave us with two players who can protect the defense and still are able to play a decent pass while the defensive abilities of aquilani are lacking and his presence in games often led me to call the ghostbusters to search and trap him with a ghost trap.... who you gonna call ? aquabusters

imo it won't be as unanimous as you think.

Though I don't doubt that a lot of people will vote out of sentimentality.

I like him as a player but he didnt brought what was asked from him (like 95% of our team) He had shown flashes of brilliancy but at this moment and for 15million, i'd say no.
