I don't think they'll charge you. You can take the computer to the store even if you bought it online. They should not charge you. Tell them that it gets too hot and turns off all the time and now the headphone-jack doesn't work. They should take it on warranty

Packard Bell. It only gets hot when It's on a warm surface for too long, like my bed. Been working on Uni work since 12 AM so it was not a surprise really
