You also have to place them over your ears, just putting them on your head does not ensure quality of sound.

    The warranty is off?
Where did you get it? Would be good if you had two earphone-jacks :D
Elkjøp. Online. Bought it in August, so the warranty is still not off, but I have no insurance on it. So they'll charge me.

I don't think they'll charge you. You can take the computer to the store even if you bought it online. They should not charge you. Tell them that it gets too hot and turns off all the time and now the headphone-jack doesn't work. They should take it on warranty :D

Yeah you're probably right, since it's a hardware problem it should go under "reklamasjonsrett". I guess I'll have to backup all my shit then. :D

    Which computer? HP?
BTW, try vacuming the computers downside if it gets too hot :D
Packard Bell. It only gets hot when It's on a warm surface for too long, like my bed. Been working on Uni work since 12 AM so it was not a surprise really :p
