I don't know what happened, but suddenly the sound quality from my laptop is really really bad when I use my headphones. It happened after the laptop suddenly shut down, due to overheating, I think :D I can't seem to find the problem, neither can Google :p
Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Def. a problem inside the computer, it happened to my HP computer as well.
Try to nodge and move the plug while you listen to something and check if something happens with the sound.

Try lowering the master volume of the computer and control the volume from the application you are using.

Yes definitely the headphone jack. I tried pushing the plug harder in, and the sound is much better, but only when I'm pushing in. Fuck.

You're pretty much fucked. Send it to service and claim you have big buisness on the computer so they give you a rental.
 I hate dealing with those fuckers. They'll demand too much money for fixing it.
