Well, i think 7 is a really cool number and it should be worn by a really cool player. At Juve, I'd like to see Mutu wear 7. As much as I like Pesotto, i just feel he's better off with a less flambouyant number. :)

PS: Cannavaro must be given 3 or 5. Both of which are very solid numbers and would signify the strength Canna brings to our d line.
maybe he should be given 17? he wore that both at parma and inter. must have some feeling towards that, dont you think?

also thuram wore 21 at parma iirc. and when he was presented at juve he had a 33 shirt i think. he changed that to 21 after zizou left. im pretty much sure they both picked their current numbers and they woulnt want to change it.

pessotto wears 7 longer than trez wears 17 but you want to take that away. and i believe 17 is more special to to fabio than to david.
I'm not saying that I wouldn't take the #17 away from Trezeguet, I was simply reminding you that Trez wears that number and I don't think he's going to relinquish it. I don't think that the #7 shirt will be taken away from Pessotto either, but I wouldn't mind if it was.

Cannavaro should have #5, Pesso should switch to #6 and Mutu take the #7.

My personal favourite numbers are 8 and 10.
My favourites are 7 and 10. Last year we didn't get to choose our numbers though. We got it for the position we played in. Quite luckily I'm an attacking midfielder, so I always got 10.

Any number above 6 is good for me anyway.

Pessotto is OUR #7... The jearsey is his, its upto him if he wants to give to someon else. Noone should even suggest or ask him to do so. He gave and still giving the club alot, he is not the senior player at Juve, he should be respected as so.
Although retiring jearseys with players are stupid, if anyone should have their numbers retiring with them it should be #2 "FERRARA" ..

I think our numbers are nice, Cannvaro's 28 is really nice. Thuram should not change 21.. Mutu is a very nice 30 :D .. Zlatan 9 and Alex 10.. All sounds nice and many of them have been goin for a while. Tacchinardi started as 20, then 3 and the TIM tropheo he presented him self as 14.

Well. Quoting Carlo Ancelotti, (or was it Berlusconi?) "Juventus is a company, but Milan is a family."

Hmm.
yeah, a family where Berlusconi the grandfather is. every thing that he says must be done.. Anceloti is a slave. if the grandfather says you have to play with 2 strikers, he must do it...

nice to see chie given the number 3 ...good sign that.

It also looks like Ciro has had his number retired.

Mutu better not stick with the #30. He should at least pick 18, or perhaps 20 once Blasi leaves. Mutu had the #20 with Parma, so I could see him taking that to bring him back to his glory days.

I dont know how many of you noticed, we dont have a # 18. Guess who wears that number? :D

PS: Why the fk did Chiellieni get 3. I think a stalwart like Canna should get that. Unless of course he rejected. But Chiellieni at 3? Id rather Zambro take it.
