For all those tourists who swamped the Jersey shore in recent years?
The funny thing about that show is the town in which it's "filmed" is literally in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do. So all the "club scenes" are filmed in two cities about an hour apart and the outdoor stuff is film in places up to 2 hours away from Sissonville.

Gordon, do you go hiking and stuff often (serious question)? :)

I go when I can. Haven't gotten out much recently, but I did do a fair amount of hiking and camping in the last few years. I finally got ahold of a decent camera so now I have a good excuse.

Figures. Bravo did some reality show called Start-Ups: Silicon Valley. The irony being that the only real "club scenes" people frequent in the Silicon Valley involve Star Trek fan clubs and Manga lovers.

If Paris Hilton grew up in the Silicon Valley, she'd still be a virgin. :andyandbarcelona:

Kewl, kewl. :) Guess that's pretty normal when you're American. But for some reason I always think you're British. Dunno why. You're sending British vibes...

I saw the first episode and it has to be one of the most poorly produced shows on television. The content isn't surprising, but it's harder to follow than Jackass.

I used to go camping and hiking a lot myself. Now it's just the occasional hike and a nice hotel. :D

My wife roughed it with me in those early years together, but I haven't been camping since we did an environmental campground a couple years ago that I love off the Pacific coast. She's gotten soft. :p

Most Americans don't hike at all.

Maybe since I'm not a fat idiot you assume I'm british?
