it wasn't specifically towards you, I am talking in general, I didn't meant to insult you.

"Fooling yourself" is hardly an insult, the only thing I don't like in you is when we discuss about Del piero you always change it to personal subject.

go ahead fool yourself, forza del piero :weee:
This is what I gather from people defending Zlatan:

1. Being a selfish scumbag with an unprofessional lack of will to improve is classy.
2. Zlatan had a grand two seasons with Juventus, although they didn't want to give him the contract extension he asked and he had an awful goal drought in his second season.
3. They don't even remember Zlatan's already numerous red cards this season.
4. The only way to properly respond to someone attacking Zlatan is saying "Forza Del Piero". Somehow they assume it makes them look superior and they know what football is all about. Responding with arguments is probably thought of as unclassy anyway.

For starters we didn't "prove" anything. Football is a very subjective sport if you ask me and some people might think Zlatan is a good player despite some arguments.

What I meant is that we gave more than enough valid points, specially in Dp's official thread...Not only me and you but many others aswell. On the other hand the zlatan lovers never managed to convince us(atleast me) about his abilities and how he can be called world class player.

All what you hear from them is that he had a great season and that he's by mile better than Dp where infact you can't compare them, not to also mention adding their sigs with "forza dp"....and these BS.

Thats the diff between Del Piero blind lovers or whatever they call us and Ibra's lovers.

Like your arguments makes any sense by calling me Zlatanist, or an Inter fan huh?

Zidane is a class player, If you will accept it or not, maybe he is the best ever player of my time. and I recall his bad behaviours and the red cards very well, but still he is a class player..

you still didn't respond me about the award Zlatan recieved at the first season, which were apointed by professionals and not zlatanists you know? sure you can't respond to that, because you are blind you can't see Zlatan as a player, he was Del piero's rival, he made him sit on bench and that was something you couldn't take. that's is all about..

and no one claimed here that Zlatan had a good season at the second season with juve, get your facts straight, and I am happy more than you that we sold him for a price like that, because his performance was going down to toilet, and his charachter is a trouble for us, not suitable player for Juve, but does that make him a bad player?? I don't think so..

Actually the likes of us "me, Seven" proved why Zlatan is worthless and he's by no where a class player. While others are still surfing around Inter forums looking for their Idol who can't even make the International Team.

We better close this thread, I'm not in a mood to see Juve's matches threads turning into someone who has the ability and talent playing with socks and not the ball.

:pint:
I dont know what u think.. And i really dont care..
But i would really like to know IF you think im "one of thoes" who are looking for their "idol" in Inter forums..???

I haven't called you an Inter fan nor a Zlatanist. Zlatan's not on par with Zidane. That's a comparison that will only ridicule your argument.

Zlatan scored 16 goals his first season. You acknowledge that as awesome. Del Piero, who got half the playing time Zlatan did, scored 14. Doesn't look too well now does it. If anything it's a rather shabby record. An okay striker who plays all the time for Juventus manages at least 15. A great one scores 25. It's Juventus FFS. We won a lot of games 4-0. Zlatan is a bad player and time will prove my point.

I liked Zlatan when he was at Ajax. I was very pleased that he came to Juve. Young talented player like is always needed.
He had a very good first season. He scored alot and played pretty well. The problem is that his combination with Capello was wrong. Maybe if he was under the coaching of Lippi he would have developped better. Capello convinced Zlatan that he is Jesus Christ. That he can walk on water, that he was invinceble ..etc This is what ruin him.
I don't think it is valid to say Zlatan is better than Del Piero. Because they are both in a different leagues. Del Piero is a player that has nothing to prove. He has proved his worth when he was 19 years old. And since then he has simply become juvenitni smile maker. Without Del Piero we wouldn't have won the stolen two scudetti. Actually one would think about it, Del Piero was the most fudimental player in Juve's victories since the mid 90s.
The difference between Zlatan and Alex is that Zlatan is a seriously talented plaayer, where Del Piero has passed this ages and now has become a team leader with a vision. Someone who can lift the spirit of the team when all are down. A player that with a glipse of his brillinace can turn over the whole game let alone the whole scudetto race.
Del Piero is a player that has acheived everything. He won all trophies possible to win, from Coppa Italia to the world cup. He is a player that does not need to touch the ball to be effective on the pitch.
On a technical point of view, Del Piero is maybe the best PK taker in the world, he is one of the best if not the best close range FK taker in the world, he is one of the best assist strikers in the world (yes better than Zlatan). He is a player that doesn't go to the side line (wide) and tries to show the crowd some tricks (i.e. Ronadinho and Ibra style) instead he prefers to go towards the goal and if a plyer comes towards him that needs to be dribbled around he is more than happy to do so with whatever skill needed (e.g. Zidane, Platini and Baggio style). He is a better finisher than Zlatan, he is more intelegent than Zlatan on and off the field, he is more experienced. He is a team player but when needed he can take matters into his own hands and finish the game unlike Zlatan who is selfish at many ocassions.

Maybe Zlatan is a class football player technically, but Del Piero is an all time football legend.

I know what you are Kosova. And you pretty much know I didnt direct It to you, though I'll never agree with you on the Ibra's subject.

They do know themselves, the ones that do surfing on Inter forums, they do know themselves. But then again who cares.
