Listen up Boys & Girls out there!!

Today at work i had the biggest row with my work collegues to who they insist the EPL is far better league than our serie A. I totally got out numbered, which really got to me. They challenged me to pick an All Star Serie A XI Vs Premiership using only the current players in todays game. I told them it was pathetic as there is only one winner.

I was wondering what you guys could come up with in order to beat these chumps, cos they're sending in there entry first thing to me by the morning.

Trust me after i enter my Serie A XI there will only be one winner. These total dumb ass's aint got a clue. running there mouths how crap serie a is etc....

I cant think of poweful wingers at the moment, but thats the best serie A has to offer.

Thats what they we mouthing at me about, our lack of wingers! they have Robben/ Ronaldo etc..... they were saying we wouldnt stand a chance.

So they're dumb because they say epl is better... and your clever cause you say serie a is better....

Oh please... Its all personal preference... Some like the style of epl and hate that of serie a whilst others like the style of serie a and hate epl...

If you like the way that the epl is played then you will obviously prefer it and as such find it better....


Theres no such thing as the better league...

Unless of course you can show proof that serie a is better ??

Which of course you cant as its purely down to preference

Pretty dumb decision by the EPL fans to do it this way because the Serie A takes the defense and just edges out the midfield as well. And nobody is as good as Adriano at the moment as far as I'm concerned, not even Henry.

Still, dumb way to rank a league.

Camoranesi? OK, he doesn't fit the bill as he's not that flashy and pepsi enough.

Somewhat off topic there's this which is probably the only somewhat good way to measure which one is better. IMHO that still is something you can't count though.

Well, if you look at it that way you can obviously counter by saying the EPL does not have any natural playmakers, some of the most skillfull players in football.

I've actually had this discussion, too. The argument against Serie A is that they score and then sit on the ball.

Now, I happen to like defense, but how do I answer that argument?

Thats exactly the point... The better league is purely in the eye of the viewer... What you like decides the league you prefer

If your gonna say that serie a is better as it has a better euro record (though throughout history there aint much in it) then you could look more closely...

Say direct european matchs between serie a and epl sides.... And then it all swings round to epl being better as in match ups between epl and serie a sides... the epl is well on top...

Theres allways an answer that spins it back the other way
