That is the idea of the fitness work in Jan-Feb, but Pirlo is one of the few who looks to be benefiting. Asamoah is another.
I thought Asamoah showed some signs of beasting a month ago but recently he's cooled down a bit. I hope he monsters back in the EL.

Dat anchorman

Yeah, Asamoah has been our most consistently good performing player recently

We had a very good game, I think Udineses system is complete suicide against us though. Di Natale isolated against 3 men twice his size and just as fast. And inferior wingbacks going up against ours 1v1.

I for one am very happy to see Roma do this good.

They have broken the record for best start in Serie A and most probably will break their personal record of most points achieved in a season, only to end up second. :lol2:
One more: If they beat Milan and Juve, they'll beat every single team in serie A at least once. It never happened in a 20 team league... well, never before Juve did it a little more than a month ago

No wonder they're losing it and they blame the referees in what is one of the least controversial seasons.

I love our team. Sending all other clubs and their fans crazy since 1897.

I wonder if Roma can maintain this seasons form as well as being in Europe

I'm not so sure, especially since they'd absolutely have to keep hold of their better players and seriously beef up their bench. I think they'll be closer to Napoli - Fiorentinas level next season.

The guys seemed to be so happy in the end. Deservedly so.

Now lets wait for a Roma fuck up in the next 2 games and we can call it a day i guess.

Nice win, not many more needed now. Three from the last five?
2 wins and 1 draw will be enough, since I don't see Roma beating us 3:0 or more.

I think this was the match. We have three home matches now. Two are against teams that will play for nothing, like Udinese tonight. Even more, it will be in the last rounds of the season, and we know how Italian teams that don't need pts play. The third, actually the first, home match is against the relegation struggling Bologna. These are tricky matches, but the difference in quality between us and the worst teams in serie A is way too big. We have a 6-0-0 record and 15:0 goal difference against these 4 teams at the bottom. And Bologna are simply awful after Diamanti left them. Basically, beating these three is enough.

On top of this, one of the remaining two matches is against Sassuolo, while Roma have a much tougher schedule with three away games and two hard home games against Milan and Juventus.
Conte's celebrations and excitement tonight are the result of the above. Now it's clear that this is done and dusted.

we just need to draw at the olimpico for that. i bet we will make it
The Roma match will be right before the EL final, while the last match vs Cagliari will be right after the final. If we make the final, we're definitely losing points, probably both against Roma and Cagliari.
