Of late? When was the last time he wasn't anything but that?
Not gonna deny he's had a poor season overall. It started decent, went from bad, to some slight redeeming against some league sides and Malmö, to bad again and now to worse. Overall a poor season from him.

He's off mentally. He seems to lack confidence and it looks like he's uncomfortable with the ball.

A shame. What a likeable character and player.
I know :\

Consider today's match an alternative ending to last Chievo match, now without Pogba scoring a screamer

Nope. We always suck when Pogba can't save us with a wonder goal. We lack pace and ideas. We're probably the most predictable top team in Europe.
top team

when you see that Allan is all over Pogba and that Pirlo is doing some light jogging do something Max. I would have gonna all out and put Pepe or even Coman for Pirlo and moved Pogba in the middle or something.
So true .They learn the lesson from the first game.
Pirlo was awful.
Llorente is non measurable .That chance at 27 min.Should be benched till the end of the season and sold.
Pereyra was bad too.
Morata made better impact from the bench than Llorente.
That Tevez miss.....
Pogba was light jogging too.

$#@! match. Llorente predictability made our attack look like pure $#@! for the first 70 minutes. And the one fantastic chance we did get, set up by Morata and Pogba, Tevez somehow blasted wide with what should have been an easy finish. Pogba got bossed by Allan.

We didn't deserve 3 points anyways. Embarrassing performance.
True.

Sorry but if we can't see that having no pace or width is a problem this Summer then we're fucking idiots. Even commentators who usually chat shit pick up on it now.

Not massively disappointed today, no team looks the same with one horribly performing striker and 2 top midfielders out simultaneously. But overall we need to stop fucking about and get some fucking direct, pacy players in this team. ABOVE all else.

Time to forget this match, fellow members. We need everyone to the Milan thread and focus our energies there. :D

No point in discussing this game, we all know the issues.

    Ok this is my ratings.

Buffon (7) - did well when called upon, can totally understand how he was pissed at times.
Leech (5) - provided nothing in attack, decent in defense
Evra (6) - linked up well with pogba at times, decent in defense
BonBon (6.5) - had a few shaky moments, but was good at cutting out key passes as the game went on
Chiellini (6.5) - Decent outing today, great that his hair grew back from the last operation.
    Pererereyra (5) - offered nothing
pirlo (5) - had a lot of the ball, slowed the game down needlessly
pogba (6) - Not his usual beast mode, but actually had some sweet moves and always taking the initiative to try something new
tevez (6) - the only player other than pogba who takes the initiative to try something new, but poor finishing let him down
    llorente (1) - amauri balotelli torres(chelsea time)

    subs:
padoin (5) - came on for evra, offered nothing extra in attack
morata (6.5) - Once again, the game kind of came alive once he came on, worked hard, nice flicks, pacey, and actually managed to connect with a few hard passes.

Allegri (5) - bad choice eto play 3-5-2, bad choice to start llorente, bad choice to bring on padoin, doesnt look like he is going for the win, no third sub.
Coman (10) - did very well to contain his anger for not being given any playing time today, while padoin got subbed on to 'look for a win'

I think the only reason why llorente is playing is because allegri wants him to start scoring some goals so we can sell him at a better price.

I hated Pirlo today! Not one good set piece!!! Tevez should take some of the corners at least, pirlo should not start away games..we played crap especially in attack..
