The level of defending from former teammates is outstanding.
Im all for sacking Pirlo and everything, but I also don’t think it’s 100% his fault. Toni is right about the midfield. Tici should be fired alongside Pirlo. The issues have been evident for YEARS and he’s really done nothing to address it besides trying to cut corners with a bunch of free transfers.

I agree that nedved and tici should be fired obviously, but the limitation pirlo has is obvious.
With him there is no other way but down.
After all this time there is no single improvement that i can think of with him in charge.

Hey Tici, ya stupid fuck, why are you the only one that doesn’t see this?
He's right on the first part, wrong on the second.

As a coach you need to build from the back. That means you organise a defence and midfield to be solid and to move around the pitch giving options to each other when we have the ball. It doesn't matter if you are Juve, Inter or Benevento, that is fundamental. Pirlo has completely neglected that.

tici and nedved did not coach and teach players like kulusevski, bentancur, Arthur, alex sandro to make dumb shit back passes that lead to the opposition scoring. The fact that kulu has done it twice now, what does pirlo even coach? do they not have video sessions to correct these mistakes? THATS ALL ON THE MANAGER!

I agree, his methods are in a way similar to extending Khedira's contract.

Does the thesis have a plan B?

Every team is preparing by covering the flanks because they realise Pirlo leaves the wide players out there to try and create 1v1s as his only game plan.

Or does the thesis not work if Chiellini, Alex Sandro and Bentancur are unable to play anything other than ‘horizontal passes’ and there is a coach on the other side that knows exactly what is coming and actually prepares his team like a coach?

Ok I think it was the second game in the last 4 years that I missed (actually missed only the second half but watched highlights.)
What I saw - I saw we were better overall although we still need to play much better.
Our defense was actually fine this time (although A.Sandro did made errors).
Their goals came from Woj mistakes as in the first goal he didnt save the shot properly which resulted in a rebound goal and the second - shot wasnt far from him so he should do much better.

Very sad to see the team fully giving up on the league. Both the squad and the coach need change.

Beppe and Conte probably feel vindicated as they lead broke-ass eternal losers Inter to their first title in a decade while rich and powerful Juve who turned them away struggle to qualify for the CL.

If Conte was our coach we would absolutely be winning the league with a massive margin and would be debating whether a quarter or semi final exit in the CL with this squad is a failure. If we don't recover our dominance next year I think that's proof that Conte and Beppe were the architects of our success the last 10 years.

Seriously I think cunte would have humiliated us in the CL as he has done in his entire coaching career

Agreed but disregarding Allegri is blasphemous. He was also equally critical to our success.

Like exiting to Lyon Ajax and Porto? We are already as low as it gets. We are not even winning the league anymore.

He was critical for the continuation of that dominance

I wouldn't be surprised to see Inter hire him in a couple of years when Conte burns out
