Silly goal,...

Just like Italy, they win 3-0

From a corner, from a free kick, and a deflected shot...

I don't care how "silly" the goal is (despite the fact the ball miraculously happened to curl right through the defense onto chiellini's forehead without giving the keeper a proper angle to catch it...).

We were tied. Nedved came on, and directly contributed to a match winning goal. You tried, and for whatever reason are still trying, to claim that he "loses" us matches, ten minutes after this happened. Please do not ever take up directing or managing anything important on this planet. Ever.

Anybody could have taken that free kick like that.

Giovinco did similar things in the past but he did not receive such praise as everyone already has the mindset that he shouldn't play, just like Tiago. People are fooled with coaching decisions and probability events, so they can't think rationally. Nedved kicked the ball to create the goal but that doesn't mean he should play all the time.
:agree:

he did gave two great balls to vinny in the first half but as they didnt go in it goes unnoticed by most. he then had a free kick that was extremely close. the kid tries but if you add being out of postition, having no confidence, a coach that clearly doesnt give him any confidence and having no continiuty what more can you expect?

if he played as a free roaming player in the attacking midfeild he would play much better.

Gio did a free kick in the first half when Iaquintas header was bearly kept from going into the net.Nobody seems to see it.
Of course not, because people only look at results rather than the whole picture. It's like an accountant writing down the company made a 3000000 dollar profit while they actually made a loss and nobody looking beyond that single number. Examination of facts is irrelevant apparently.

I doubt even if giovinco played in the centre today that he would have made an impact, his sheer size and physique would have made it difficult to shine in such a passionate game for torino.

Forza Nedved .. Forza Chiellini .. an assist and a goal that worth 3 points in the derby and yet there is an idiot who actually says they're our problem !!

Neddy is a true Legend ..

Forget the free kick then. Our whole game changed after Nedved got in.

I'm not even going into the Giovinco debate here. Seba was the one who actually created our chances at the beginning. All i'm saying is that Nedved made us more dangerous.

Thank you Chellini "The King Kong".
I am sure this win would be a great boost for tuesday's match. We hope to see a more productive team though.
