I cant believe we really had no plan B for this game, i mean it was clear as daylight that SPAL wanted to get the draw and will be wasting time, and yet we keep on playing slow buildup play and not taking any chances to counter at all, really pathetic performance, no desire to win at all..unforced points dropped here

Said before the game that I was worried about this one, they wanted it far more and we've got accustomed to doing the bare minimum in these games and getting a narrow win. I don't think our players appreciated the form SPAL were in and how motivated they would be for this game.

We needed a bit of quality to spare us but tbh there was no quality and no heart. Maybe no legs, but the first two can't be excused.

Particularly loved the bit where we played 1-2s with each other in midfield with 30 seconds on the clock and Mandzukic up front. That was the performance in a nutshell, a fucking joke.

Both meelan and Lazio came here and destroyed spal in these past months. Disappointing we looked clueless and we got frustrated easily. This was so unlike us. Not all lost, shit happens we just gotta let it go and come back stronger.
