That is due to the tactical changes Capello is making when Ibrahimovic is on the pitch, and not because of the impact of the players on this game. In that sense, yes, thanks to Del Piero Juventus played better than ordinary. Hopefully Juve can play like this against better teams as well.

tactical changes???...oh please.....don't make me laugh.

Why didn't he do these tactical changes before why now??? or you're trying to tell me that he used to like the long ball system and now he prefer playing the ball on the ground??? or he just realized that dp is 10x better than ibra?? there's no tactical changes, get your facts.

Just take a look back at all the games that saw Del Piero starting and compare them with Ibra, you'll see the diff...not that I'm comparing them but It's pretty clear that with Del Piero we play some great football....

His assists on #2 and #3 were brilliant, IMHO :)
Not being tight on DP but the assist for the second goal wasnt much of an assist he fell back as he tried passing it to treze. Whilst the third was actually an assist from viera to mutu. Either way DP played a much better game than Ibrah, can play or possibly has ever played.

I have to disagree here.....If you looked at the 2nd goal good, you'll notice that Del Piero did more than he tried to assist he actually blocked the guy who was about to take the ball, and was very smart to do this because If Trezeguet wasn't going to be there for the ball there was for sure going to be a Freekick, a dangerous one. So back to my point Del Piero did secure the needed screen that Trezeguet needed.

3rd goal was Pat's assist, but then again, thanks to Del Piero who did open the road for both Pat and Mutu.

Agree, was a good assist but hardly brilliant. No offense to the DP fans ;)

Then why do you think the whole team is playing long balls on Ibrahimovic when he's on the pitch, and playing short passing when DP is on? Sure, Ale is an influential and skilful player but no man in Juve has that kind of authority other than Capello. When Ibra plays, Capello has a targetman to play long balls to. When he's off, he doesn't. Now tell me, how that is Ibra's fault is beyond my comprehension. It's nothing else than silly tactics from Don Fabio. Tactics which he has to change whenever DP plays because even Cap isn't inept enough to order long balls on Del Piero.

:D his doing a drunken sailorman move.
Balza's goal celebrations are such a kick -- he's like a big puppy jumping all over the furniture.

But in these shots, it looks like he's thinking, "Hey, look! A 2 Euro coin!" at the feet of his teammates. :pumpkin:

Agree with that. DP is short, to order long balls to him would be insane. No matter how much influence DP really has, I think the final say is coming from Capello. I very much doubt things would have been the same if we took on a much more stronger side.

well u cant say its a disgusting season, thats a bit unfair.. other teams would kill to get this disgusting season we r having.
Not everyone is jumping over the roof tops not many ppl here and certainly not capello. We still have two games and a scudetto to win so we will leave the big celebrations till then.

-U cant compare our squad to mourinho's he has the best squad in the world ffs. But same as our capello failed to win the CL. He also got an easier job, as the EPL chasers were some wat inadequate. I certainly like to think that milan r much tougher opposition than the opposition chelsea had this year. The only difference is that we stated out our main target as the CL.

- the man management was a disappointment this season..and the rotation of the squad was pretty poor as well, thats the two major points on cap..however ppl here r putting everything on his head, and the players are like angels at times.
Gee, you always want to make Mourinho's job look easy and Capello's look hard. You always, it seems to me wanna put Capello in a good light no matter what. You even blame the players like they are the ones who now pick the team. We are in this mess mainly because of Capello. The lack of rotation did not help but for me thats not the major problem. The main problem is the stupid idea that you have to play 2 defensive midfielders no matter who we play. The constant playing of Mutu and Nedved in positions where they cannot hurt the opposition. Playing Zlatan when it was absolutely unneccessary. I did not see the game against Treviso but i read he played Emerson as the second striker in the second half, is that not madness? Playing Chiellini ahead of Balzaretti and Zambrotta was crazy as well
Food for thought, if we do finish level with Milan, they win the scudetto cos of hed to head. Would that not make you and some others look foolish for supporting the idea that getting a draw against 10 man Milan was a good idea? Amazing how you guys no matter how much experience you have of watching football never seem to have foresight. I always believe you have to try and win matches , i have never found a draw against anyone a good result, never
You mention Mourinho there, but i can tell you I dont remember seeing Mourinho actually playing for a draw at the onset of his matches unlike Capello who always seems to do. I dont want him here next season, its as simple as
Stats are for suckers as they never tell the whole story
What are you talking Milan are more adequate than Epl chasers, Milan have lost 6 times and in games you will not expect them to. Man united and Liverpool just had bad starts to the season but they have done well and there are 2 English teams in the final of the major tournaments in Europe so don't even bring that up

agree as usual but milan wont win head to head, there will be a playoff.
there are no playoffs more in serie A..

if 2 teams have the same points, the head to head rocord is decisive and if it is equal the goal difference.. if we have the same points at the end of th eseason as milan, they will win the scudetto..

Not this year, Fli. Due to the tight time before the World Cup, the head-to-head will be taken into consideration.
