Not related to this post but what do you think we should play with for this game?

Fearful that Siena will know how to stop Conte's 424? I think we should mix it up for this game. Let's see how well we adapt now that games finally count.

I can't really comment on who Juve should play, since I didn't watch the Parma game.

One thing I would say is that is that I would play Grosso LB if he is reasonably fit, rather than messing about with any of the other options.

I just don't think Grosso will do anything for us. Fit? He has no match fitnesss at all, not one minute played in preseason...

I think it's best to play with Chiellini at the LB or try Licht there and Sorensen as a RB.

We played well in the 442, but if Siena claims they know how to stop it, why not throw them a curve ball?

I just don't trust Bonucci and Barzagli enough as a pair to move Chiellini wide. Bringing Grosso in is the obvious choice, but I wouldn't object to going with another option (Vidal, maybe, if Conte chooses to stick with Marchisio and Pirlo?).

OK so we disagree on Grosso.

But agree on formation change.

I just would HATE to see us lose momentum because we want to put an old Grosso on, we have no idea how long he could even play.

I don't think Grosso playing is even an option. He would've been involved at some stage in pre-season if he was in Conte's plans at all.

I'm against Chiellini at LB, mostly because that means Bonucci-Barzagli in the centre.

It is "only" Siena. Regardless of whoever plays LB, Juve should have too much for them.

Chiellini at LB is not an option for me. I'd rather him and Barzagli form a CB partnership. I'd play Grosso, Pepe or even Vidal there.
