Both my parents are Italian, my family has a strong Italian identity. I speak Italian, I eat Italian and I frequent my family in Italy fairly often but I'm a proud Australian. This country gave us opportunities that we couldn't have dreamed of having had our families not migrated here. You would probably be living in some miserable shit hole in the south of Italy rooting your first cousin had your family stayed. Maybe you should be thankful for what this country has given you and your family and understand that you don't owe Italy anything. Its this ungrateful attitude which gives ammunition to the racist bigoted Australians here who are growing in numbers and to be honest I understand why they're angry at immigrants who are so ungrateful for what this country has done for them that they snub the Australian culture and way of life which has been the sole reason for why migrants have been embraced and accepted in Australia up until now.
Well fuck you then. I said maybe you're english or something, but now you attack my opinion. No shit I wouldn't have the same opportunities in Italy if my family didn't move but that's changed now. #1, no my family is not from south, they're from Pescara, Abruzzo. Central Italy.:
Miserable shit hole.
I don't understand why you think I shouldn't be allowed to move back to Italy and be proud of my Italian heritage. If you want to hide your heritage and fit in with 'aussies' with poor genes then good luck to you

I'm not fucking ungrateful at all but I prefer Italy. Why do you think people move countries in the first place?
Also, wogs fucking built this country and Australia would be backwards right now without Italians and Greeks. The aussies are bloody ungrateful. And snub the australian culture?

Look at Australians now, thinking they invented cafes and pizza. Australia had very little culture. All of it was from england. Back in the 50's all they had was meat and two veg and not too much else. No rich history like Italy.
