As others have mentioned, we have several options forLB, which Conte was well aware of when he sent Ziegler to turkey (for reasons yet to be explained).
It would make no sense to take out Marchisio, after such a fine performance last week, and I believe that Conte is interested in meritocracy, and also, has used marchisio as much as any other player since he joined the club. Vidal will likely have to settle for a bench role again. Whilst Pepe is solid defensively for a winger, I am less inclined to believe he will be competent as a wingback/fullback.
The Chiellini option seems the safest, and would allow Bonucci to prove himself, albeit for one game. However, I was impressed with Barzagli and Chiellini last week and would prefer to see that partnership blossom, than immediately separated. The parts of our team which worked great last week should remain intact. the parts that didnt work?? the most blatant failing was De Ceglie. In a way the red card has given us a chance to see what COnte's plans are for the Ziegler replacement role. And thankfully, its against a weak Siena side, rather than...away to Milan for example. Better to experiment against the pilchards than the sharks.
Estigarribia is surely unlikely to start in a role he has never played before with Juventus, and with such little time with the squad thus far.
Which leaves us Grosso, who again, it could be said, has had very little time with the squad, because as far as i know he was training away from the squad until a week or so back. There is also Liviero...

I would prefer to see Esti or Liviero, as both represent the future, not the past.
Essentially, we were so slick last Sunday as a team unit, even with a poor de ceglie (who positionally speaking played left mid, not left back), that I am not worried about his absence or whoever comes in to replace him. Its actually potentially exciting, if that is, Esti or Liviero get the nod, as they won't have to perform amazingly to be an improvement on Paolo.
I am more interested in the selection of the offensive wingers and strikers. Matri scored a goal (wrongly disallowed), and hit the post, whilst not playing particularly well. Vucinic looked lethargic when he entered the fray, so I can see no reason at all to drop Matri for Mirko. It would make sense to start Mirko over DP, as again, this is looking to the future. DP and vucinic looked great together once or twice pre-season, but for me, we need our natural prima punta, our most natural goalscorer, starting...so. Dp/Vucinic + Matri.
The flanks are harder to choose. Fors starters, whoever plays at LB is likely to influence who Conte deploys at LW. It wouldn't surprise me to see Pepe starting as LW, to cover the lack of integration into the squad of any of the Esti/Grosso/Liviero potential LBs. On the right flank, if Krasic is fit surely he will start over giaccherini. And I am excited to see the serb's partnership with lichsteiner develop.
What of Elia then??? A player who to my mind, is by far the most skilful and potentially potent of our wide players. He must surely see some playing time in this game.
