Who dis Raspadori dude? Liked the look of him in this game.
Numerous players have looked great against us, don’t let performances against our bagel team fool you.

So careless in possession at the back. Only looked like getting something once we realised we are incapable of passing out under pressure and started to knock it long to get out and just play on the counter. Still a horrid performance overall.

No idea how we went in at half time 2-0 up and was convinced we'd throw it away when it went to 2-1. But we actually played some decent football in the second half, aided by Sassuolo throwing so many forward and leaving so much space on the counter.

Why couldn't Pirlo use this starting 11 for every match? It clearly worked better than having Chiesa on the left and Morata on the field

Has hype as "The new Di Natale". 21yo youth product of Sassuolo was handed the captaincy a couple of times when the captaincy were missing. Did great in the primavera and started featuring last season in Serie A. Played in the front 2 during the U21 euros group stage last month with Scamacca or Cutrone.

Very interesting player, quick and smart.

We will wait, until he explodes and than we’ll struggle to buy him. Same with Vlahovic or Chiesa. Wish we’d be able to buy a player with similar profile and grow him at the club.
Oh, I think exactly the opposite. We should always have the cash laying around to poach those players who actually make it to a higher level. If you pay, you need to know for what you're paying. Too many kids popping out every season, you can't sign them all.

Growing kids never works here but we should start doing it with our own products - that way we'd have some HG players both for Serie A and CL.

Obviously we always need to buy proven top players, but with the inflation on the market and difficulties we’re having of selling, I rather see us buying them before they explode.

Don’t agree that growing kids never works here.

I was thinking mostly about the defensive phase of his game. We have a huge hole in the center with him and the opponents can do whatever they wish.
He's useless as a playmaker, but incredibly harmful when we defend.
And yes, that becomes much more obvious in a 2 men midfield.
Hole gets huger when Bonucci is starting with him too.

How did we won this is beyond me, normally we should be loosing 3:0 at half time. Everyone sees that once Pirlo got time (no cl) for trainings and implement his ideas we play like shit. We got 11 points in last 8 games. It was funny when sass attacked from their left once and u could see how players screamed at each other to chase the guy with the ball who was cutting it to the mid. Chiesa shouted at Arthur, Arthur shouted at Rabiot and Rabiot probably shouted at Dybala, but none of them was really trying to tackle the guy. And its always like this, a big hole near our penalty area because players don't know what to do. Pirlo lost it completely.

And is it true he isn't coming back? Greats like him should just be kept around in some sort of capacity.
