Yeah, it's actually worrying. But people see 0-2 and think we bossed them. We'll start dropping points soon.
We did boss them, but it was still not a good performance. Against these kind of teams, who have no place in serie A, it's even easier to notice many of our weaknesses. I'm talking about the first touch, off the ball movement, passing etc. Things that mostly have to do with the (lack of) quality of the players.

Today for the most part we looked like an Allegri team. I think he will be quite content with that performance. We were in total control except for a 5 minute period early in the second half.
We were good because Salernitana were that bad. They offered zero pressure on the ball past the first striker touch and we had all the time in the world to just move the ball from side to side. It was a practice match

We did boss them. We controlled the match from start to finish, mostly with ease. Was it a good performance? Was it inspired football? Not at all. It was a mediocre, average performance, nothing to write home about, but not something to do all the whining and crying over that’s going on. Lol

And yet we could have beaten them 5-0 still some people would be unhappy

Our 80% of holding the ball was useless most of the time. We make way many stupid mistakes and we looked clueless upfront. If we can't demolish Salernitana it says quite a lot about this team. ANY below decent team will make us struggle. Salernitana was worse than that, and even they could have scored.

I'm happy about 3pts. But I won't celebrate much because we'll bent over with the first chance because we are simply bad.

I'm fully aware that Salernitana are terrible. However imo this is how Allegri wants his team to play, control the game with and without the ball and don't take unnecessary risks with the ball. He likes control and in possession he likes it when we keep it simple or at least that is what I think.

No he should make us play like man city one touch passing flair creativity high pressing off the ball movement and 1 billion euros transfer budget

Way too relaxed defensively at 1-0 and even when Simy had his chance early. We really need to put games like this to bed early.

However, I hope Allegri continues with this exact set up in the next game.
