Hamsik without a doubt, a player we failed to secure despite his obvious talent.
    Poll added.

    Hamsik is my choice also.
Close call with Pato who was brilliant also but played only in the second part of the season.

    Hamsik.

Great talent...good passing, crossing and decent shot. He'll become one of the best players at that position within next few years.I still can't believe we missed him when we played Serie B when he was right in front of our eyes.

My second choice would be Juan.

Very underrated player. While everyone thought he's choker he showed his quality.

I would have to say giovinco, purely because he was a diamond in the rough for empoli, whereas hamsik had a pretty decent napoli sqaud around him.
Credit to all the rookies though, they all did great

    Marek Hamsik.

Had Pato began the season from August and was scoring, I'dve voted him #1. He's made an modest or encouraging impact so far, and I'm certain he will be the next Serie A superstar.

Expecting him to explode next year, goal-machine style.

Pato didn't get my vote only because he played just a half season. Sissoko the same case. But both players had visible impacts on their teams and that coming from young players which never ever played in Serie A. I think we can expect big things from all these players.

I am surprised that many chose to vote for Hamsik rather than for Giovinco. May I ask for clarification? :) Take into account that Giovinco practically jumped from Juventus Primavera into Serie A and ripped apart many defences throughout the whole seaon. Pretty impressive if you ask me,. Hamsik was also brilliant but he had 2-3 years of professional football behind him and he also entered a solid Napoli side. Giovinco was absolutely stellar for his team and he wasn't surrounded by that many quality players.

Balotelli also did quite well for Inter, he played 10 games and scored 7 goals, not too bad for a 17 year old in his first professional season

Good observation, he definetly deserves to be in the poll.

I can't shake my bias so I went with Sissoko.

Id love to go for both Hamsik and Lavezzi. But since everyone is going for Hamsik,id lend my support to Lavezzi:p.Very talented player, who probably doesnt get as much credit because of Hamsik. If Napoli want to develop into a football powerhouse again,i think they'd need atleast one of them at the club for a long time. From a purely sentimental POV,Lavezzi probably works better because he's Argentine, and the fan following he'd get in Naples is bigger than what Hamsik would get,..but both players are brilliant.
