Sissoko was fine, IMO. I liked his crisp passes and aggressive play. He's turning out to be a better acquisition than I expected.

That said, I refuse to comment on this match. It was Napoli all over again. The ref was so inconsistent, he really left no point to the players playing on the pitch. We should have all just sat home and let him post the final score for us. Since he was the only person that mattered in this match. :(

EDIT:

Just saw this, Jack. How much we think alike:

spot on, Momo was awesome today all over the place from start to finish
He was good, but come on, that was probably the dumbest thing I have seen all season. No denying it. It was stupid and the referee was right in calling a penalty. It's bonehead moves such as this which cost us all the time, from idiotic decisions by Ranieri to bicycle kick clearences in our own area trying to show up Nesta or something.

FUCKING DUMB.

You speak as if it happened accidentally. This was predetermined.
I didn't mean it was accidentally neither predetermined. I meant that the referee decided the result and I'd rather not talk about the football.

Sissoko had a good game today. He was one of our best players in the second half so I can't understand why the fuck people are blaming him. He couldn't even see Amoruso when he kicked him and the ball had already passed Amoruso so that was a very harsh penalty call. Don't forget that Sissoko should have had a penalty earlier in the game.

Okay, that's fine. Either way this isn't normal in a post-Calciopoli season. I give Calcio two more months before a new scandal comes up.

    Yahoo's final comment:

GOOOOLLLL!

    SCANDALOUS
I'm starting to think I'd better stop watching Serie A games

Anyone blaming Sissoko is just an idiot. This game was fixed.
I'm not going to blame Sissoko for the final outcome, but what he did was foolish. On a whole our team were horrid to watch today, we did hardly anything in the final third and throughout the match we could only put in long shots from 25 yards +. We deserved 2 penalties, but we didn't get them. Sissoko was our best player as well, its just really dissapointing to see him do play so well and then make a silly flop to concede a penalty, this late on. Spur of the moment.

    Stu,

the only reason you could call a foul there is dangerous play. Which merits an indirect free kick. This was never a penalty and I'm not believing this bullshit anymore.

It could only have been an INDIRECT FREEKICK people, So before you idiots start insulting Sissoko, take a look at the facts. We should have had two penalty kicks at least and Reggina got one for an non-existent foul in the final minute. This was not what you would call a clean football game.
No denying the referee was crap, maybe paid off. Fucking terrible.

But we didn't deserve to win anyway. We were shit.
