Agreed. We're a pretty good attacking side, we know that. What needs improving is the defence, and playing Neddy, DP, DV and Trez at the same time won't help that. Lecce proved this as they completely picked apart our 4-2-3-1 line-up. This is what I would play:

Buffon
Birindelli Thuram Ferrara Pessotto
Zambrotta Appiah Maresca
Nedved
Trezeguet Del Piero

As far as I know Camo isn't available...

Yeah, Maresca can play in that position, but I think Camo is injured and Iuliano and Legro should be dropped. I would put Birindelli at right back, move Thuram to the centre of defence, and partner him with Ferrara.

about the match.. I really wish that lippi plays all the awful players that we have (Legro, Appiah, Iuliano, montero..etc) so that he and BOD's will be convinced that they are no good any more.. and we'll get rid of them by the end of the season..

the season is already over.. so it won't hurt us that much..
