Here is my default response to people who say I have something personal against Del Piero:

No, I have nothing personal against Del Piero. He has been one of the my favorite players of all time. The first Juve jersey I bought has his name on it. I have said multiple times that I do not hate Del Piero, but it bothers me to see people praise Del Piero, then throw out harsh criticism at Ibrahimovic, even though the latter has played better so far. I criticise Del Piero harshly because it seems like I am one of the few that want a replacement for him because he can no longer help the team as he used to. In my love for the club, I want the best for Juve, and that includes calling for replacements that can give more to the club. Making harsh statements also calls people to argue back with me, which in turn gives people something to post about. However, I stick by my arguement that we must find a replacement for Del Piero.

Romano: Your list is a very good description, for an average Serie A striker. Like I have said time and time again, we need a striker that can actually get the job done for us, and perform when the "going gets tough."
Agree... We need Cassano... and a Playmaker, Pizzaro or Aimar maybe..?

How is Capello fvcking up Del Piero's career? He's getting played, isn't he? Alex's career was fvcked long before Capello came to Turin.
So is it again the 1-1 draw cuz of Alex?

Have a life...

Shame on me for giving my own opinion. What has become of this forum? Unless you can conjure up some sort of arguement against my claims, there is no use in even responding to you. I am very used to people giving personal attacks to me now because thats all they can do. :D
the same goes to you..

Anyone got ratings?

I guess if someone posts the ratings, this endless DP argument will probably be delayed a bit

and there is one thing that will end this argument actually...A DP replacement :D

What do you think of :
MICCOLI ?
He's playing kingsize in Fiorentina.
Scores beatiful goals (IMO) and could be the Del Piero replacer...
What do you think? No bad idea to me, better then Nonda

I don't know how, but seems that every thread in this forum sonner or later ends on a " Del Piero" topic and after that its just insults and figths.... this is getting absurd...

For you Del Piero lovers:

You have to understand that Del Piero its not performing, at least not at the moment, he may have improve today, but still he was just ok, maybe Capello didn't make a good desition, but hey, like Fabi said, its not the first time that Capello subs Del Piero at that point in the match.

When Trez return, you will have to get used to see Del Piero entering from the bench, coz at the moment, Zlatan and Trez may perform better, and start giving us some scoring that was what we lack in todays game.

Saying that Del Piero its great after he made a good game its just the same that saying that he is crap after he play a bad game.

Now, For you Del Piero bashers:

Once again after Juventus ties or loses, you pick on Del Piero, and I can say that on this ocaion, you were out of line, Del Piero play a good match today, and Capello was wrong to substitute him, its not my opinion, its the press opinion.
If the change were made by, lets say Trezeguet, well I could understand that, but the sub was for Zalayeta, and he did absolutly nothing when he enter the game, At least Del Piero was shooting and passing the ball.

To all of you:

You all say that we play crap, but I invite you to go to xtratime and see what some of Parma, and even Inter fans say of the game... we deserve to win, we played great, but two things were agsint us, bad luck, and Frey...

Now with this Im not saying that we are playing awsome soccer, in fact like I alredy said, I believe that at the moment Milan its playing better and I do believe that if we don't change something we will be run over by them, but we have time to start change things, Capello its a great manager, and I have faith that he will correct the things that we need to fiz to began to play better.

I think was a moderator on the Hang out section that a said that we should chill out a litle, we all are Juve fans, and we all have the rigth to express our opinion, but lets be mature enough to do it without insulting people.

About Miccoli, I wished Lippi would have fielded him a bit more last year just to see what else he could give. He was better than Del Piero for most of last year IMO, and in a way I wish we still had his services. However, Bojinov, Cassano, Mutu, and Gilardino are better than Miccoli. As for Shabani Nonda, he is not that bad of a striker, but I have been skeptical about him ever since he basically missed a whole season due to injury a couple years back. I would rather take Mutu on a free.

ja.

Pablo will love this. look he is hungry for success, getting good money already but he wants to become bigger name than he is at the moment. a move to Italy's most prestigious club will do it and what else he will want at this stage. he has hinted of a move from Valencia this summer, although their management denies and also Pablo himself denied but it is evidant there is some kind of dent in his relations with his club. all due to Pablo's lack of most exposure on the pitch.

Juventus needs a player of his type and if the deal is done i know he will be able to work with Fabio Capelo. coach has many times praised him already. all the best to both parties

A goal by Marchionni 5 minutes from the end awarded Parma with an important point as they equalized Ibrahimovic’s earlier strike. Juventus had in fact taken the lead in the 64th minute thanks to the Swedish player but had to leave the Tardini stadium just with one point following a mistake by Paolo Montero which helped Marchionni equalize for the Giallobu.

why do we keep falling for this one

i agree!!!

I have not seen the game, but what i heard we did ok but we missed luck and that is what you need to win this games!
For example: when Camoranesi's shoot on the post is a goal we may win 3:0, you never know, but thats soccer!

and lets not forget we did most of the season without Trezeguet, IMO his return will help the team a lot!

As I already said today also Milan can't perform always good, and also they will draw and lose points!

actually we played very good today IMO..how on earth did Parma escape first half wiyouth a goal conceded... our chance creating deparment is not the problem today. More like the finishing department.. that would we sort out once Trezeguet regain full fitness. Its Freys's good day over Montero's bad.

BTW just watched Roma dery and the atmosphere was awesome. and how spiritedly each of the four goals cellebrated, This must be crazy but i think Cassano is the best header in the league...
