It has been a long time since it has been "fun" watching this team. Not to take away from a good result, but we look like a bottom table side on weekly basis that struggles to grind out results. This isn't Juve.

    And I love this :D

Bettega is like our new padrino...I love the man. When before, I merely respected him. He DOES look like our new King. With Secco and Blanc as his advisors...or slaves.

Today we got 3 points, and that's an improvement over the last couple of games. Winning a game has been a difficulty for the past weeks. Juventus can't change in a day. It may have been a sloppy performance, but whatever performance it was, was a step in the right direction. 4-4-1-1 isn't the formation we need. We need to do a 4-4-2. Place Diego as a support striker, and Amuari/Del Piero/Iaquinta as the front striker. (Trez is injured) and have Marchisio as a left winger, Melo in the inside, Poulsen in the inside, and Giovinco on the right wing. Grosso as a left back, Chiellini inside, Cannavaro inside, and Grygera as a right back. (Caceres suspended)

A 4-4-2 is needed, we must stop counters and we need to act more offensive. We are acting very defensive. We need balls in the back of the net.

Bravo to Chiellini, you did excellent. May we fight Milan with everything we have. Hopefully this game boosted the morale and confidence to the Juventus squad, and hopefully they pull off a brilliant performance against our rivals.

    Forza Juventus
Del Piero CANNOT play as a lone striker. he is too weak.

Marchisio is not at all a natural winger. We lost something from his game by asking him play as winger. His strength lies through the middle, both defending and attacking.

Diego playing as a support striker makes it even more unlikely that we will get decent service to the front two. Because Diego is the finest player on the ball we have. he is the prime creator. Pushing up the field means he will simply have to come back deeper to get the ball from our desperately disorganized midfield. Which will leave the lone striker even more alone and isolated and easy to mark...

If we truly wish to stick with a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1, then we must have giovinco playing, preferably Camo, but if not him, then Sali on the wing i.e. players capable of performing the wing, playing actually on the wing. We mustered 2-3 shots with that formation, and Diego didn't appear to have MORE of the ball than in the 4-3-1-2 or 4-2-3-1. Early days of course, but I don't think our problems are mainly tactical, they are mental and spiritual and emotional...

First off, can anyone tell me WHY Caceres would slide in like a complete IDIOT, knowing that he is already on a yellow card ?? Lucky for us, it didnt end up costing us....

We may have won and got 3 points today, but it has to be the sloppiest Juve win I can remember in a long while...we only won because of an own goal

Things havent changed, we still play like shit, and cant seem to string passes together, or get anything going offensively...regardless of this "win", we need Guus asap !!

Legro, how does it feel to be OWNED by Amoruso, the one-hit wonder ??

    Caceres has no brain

Melo has some new feet that he's still getting used to

Brazzo may have scored, but still played like shit the rest of the game

on the positive side, Chellini was solid, our MOTM

Ferrara looks bewildered, someone please escort him out of the stadium

I have to disagree with this statement. Mind you, I am not saying he played excellent, no-one did (Besides Chiellini). But the guy has just returned from a very long injury and he scored us two goals so far. In fact, what I liked about his play today is something Juve should really go back to, playing the simple easy passes. Because of playing his simple passes Brazzo was involved in most of our "dangerous" plays.

Our current team is always trying to play the difficult impressive game, and thats one of the reason we end up loosing possession too fast and cannot control the game. Whether its Melo, Diego or Camoranesi. And that is one of the main reason I would like to see more of Del Piero. He always finds the easy pass to his team mate.

Gotta love the passion from Bettega though. You don't see much of that from the stoic Blanc, who at the core probably doesn't care about Juventus from a non-professional view. Very glad to have Bobby officially back in the setup.
