Nah, Caceres was too far out to close the goalscorer down. The whole defense was caught up by a very quick counter.

Vucinic likes to have a good game, then not move at all the next game. Padoin should be playing in the coppa (IF THAT) A striker is needed but game after game I noticed that a quality winger would really help aswell.

I would take some form of Peluso - Caceres or Marrone - Pogba any day over Padoin. Even going back to 4-4-2, since we have no quality left wingback/winger. Above all get rid of Padoin, never start him again. He couldn't hit the wide side of a barn to save his life.

I hope Conte learns from his mistakes from this match. This was so frustrating to watch. We wasted our chances and got caught again on a stupid counterattack like both Sampdoria goals. I could have been watching the same match almost.

But I don't think the writing is on the wall or any such nonsense, come on. Have faith in the team that won the Scudetto last year, ragazzi.

Positives to take away from this: Vidal was absolutely immense. Pogba was pretty good too, though I'd like to see some more grinta out of him. If he had in him to go in for some more challenges he could be more like Yaya Toure and less like Pirlo, who we already have one of. Barzagli was a rock like always. The rest were in varying degrees of average to absolutely awful. Padoin obviously at the very bottom of that list. Shockingly awful performance, not worthy of any team in Serie A that I can think of. Except Inter, I'd give him to them any day.
