Cobolli Gigli: 'Juve being punished' Saturday 27 October, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli was livid after two controversial penalties in Naples. “They cannot treat us like this!”

The Bianconeri had already complained about the refereeing last week in the 1-0 win over Genoa when Pavel Nedved and Coach Claudio Ranieri were sent off.

They were positively furious after two terrible penalty decisions helped Napoli to a 3-1 victory this evening.

“I do not even need to see the incidents again on the slow-motion replay. They were so clear even from the stands that even the Napoli fans near me recognised the errors,” slammed President Cobolli Gigli on Sky Italia television.

“I have to wonder how on earth the referee and his assistants did not see them.”

The club’s figurehead also implied this was some kind of punishment for the Calciopoli scandal and that Juve would never again be given the benefit of the doubt.

“We want to be judged by what we do on the field. We went into Serie B, returned in A and we are earning our position for a good season.

“We cannot be treated this way. It is not possible that the authorities did not see what happened today. Nobody will give us back our three points, but we do need the referees to officiate our games without all this pressure. I have never seen anything like it.”

The match at the San Paolo was 1-1 when referee Mauro Bergonzi awarded a penalty for Giorgio Chiellini’s seemingly clean tackle on Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Soon after, the official pointed to the spot again when Marcelo Zalayeta appeared to dive over Gianluigi Buffon.

this is going to continue due to calciopoli every refree gives decision not in favour of juve
This has nothing to do with the Calciopoli.. We are the victoms of our success, we have always been and will alway be.
We suffered in the past from refs, but we managed to over come that in many occassions. I must admit we had stronger squads in the past. They started this whole thing in the past that Juve are cheaters because they coudn't stop us. When they became so desprate the INVENTED THE CUNTPOLI ooh I mean the calciopoli to send us to Serie B and make sure we are heavily damaged and cannot react back whenever we are back. They banned Moggi who although wasn't the cleanest man around was Juventus' back and was protecting Juventus (I don't care what THEY say, I beleive him because I am not going to beleive those fuck heads.. The court says he did not match fix, thats the end of it he did not cheat). But no.. They don't know Juve. We came back and took the lead of the Serie A. They started to heavily punish us in the games to let us suffer so we wont' be able to compete...

THE FUCKING FACT THEY HAVE TO REALISE... WE ARE JUVE.. We will compete no matter what. And eventually, even if not this season, we will return back to winning a scudetto after the other.. So go fuck yourself FIGC.. Go fuck yourself Colina.. And most importantly go fuck yourself Moratti because if you don't a huge black and white cock will come SOON so hard up your ass you will be asking for forgiveness...

Forza Juve per sempre... Forza Juve for life..

EDIT: I apologize for the dirtly language.. I am really upset.. I watched most of the game...

i agree with u but i think calciopoli has to play a part in it if anything goes in favour of juve it is debated on the newspaper and media which puts pressure on refree to give decisions against us

Exactly.

Everything's not Black and White all the time Vinni. One day you're in awe and in surprise from the performance of Lego and the other you're attacking him. Coming up with silly names for our players is childish. Just face it, you won't like anyone unless we're winning Serie A and CL year in and year out. Just admit it.
when was I ever in awe over Legro ?? Maybe he sold you, but not me..

I say the guy had a good game, and you think I pulled the same move you did, and hung a poster of him in my room ?? Simply not the case......

What names did I come up with for our players ?? I didnt know RUINeri was a player, was he out there today, and in what position ? The man is the coach of this team, and if I dont like the way he does things, then you better believe that I will criticize him...and come up with funny names

If you dont expect the best from Juve, then go find another team...I know you're in love with Portugal, so why not support Benfica or Sporting...who aren't ever expected to be a top European team ?

its true, hes a dreamer, he thinks its just that easy, its like me saying, i could do his policing job and it wouldnt affect me at all psychologically. soo idealistic.
Thats all you got to say, kid ?? Comparing a game with my job ??

Do everyone a favor...dont comment on my posts, because for the life of you, you cant keep it on topic, and have to make things personal, and its a waste of space in here

Truth is, guys, that as terrible of a refereeing farce we saw today, there are lots of anti-Juve followers who are now saying, "Well it's about time! Let's see how they like it for a change."

Just be prepared: Juve isn't winning any allies nor much sympathy over this affair.

Juve will have to be Juve and overcome these handicaps laid against them.

Give me one valid reason to call Cobolli a fool for what he said?
He DOES NOT do anything practical to make his voice louder.

He can complain as much as he wants but nobody will hear what he says if he doesn't make practical steps against the referees who are proved to be NOT qualified enough.
