Cobolli Gigli: “This is unacceptable”

Giovanni Cobolli Gigli had some very harsh words speaking to the Sky TV reporter about the outcome of the match at the San Paolo. Juventus' Chairman couldn't accept the two non-existent penalties awarded by referee Bergonzi that basically decided the match.

These were his words after the match: “We don't believe they have it in for us, or that someone is trying to damage us, but what happened tonight is absolutely unacceptable. Even Napoli supporters who were near me on the stands realized those penalties shouldn’t have been given. I ask myself how the referee wasn't able to see this, and why his assistants didn't help him out in his decisions. At Cagliari, for example, the linesman had done a great job convincing the referee to change his mind.
We want to be judged only by what happens on the pitch. We were relegated to Serie B and now we're back, we paid our dues; we can't be treated like this. No-one's ever going to give us back these two points. I hope someone in high places noticed what happened here because referees that do our matches need to be more cool-headed and impartial”.

wrong move, i would have attacked the ref like fuck, but then again if you complain you get a ban and a large fine, so the players are probably going to leave the talk to Ranieri and the Board of Directors
And knowing our directors they will say that we are guilty and that Buffon and Chiellini shouldn't tackle like that.

I just downloaded goals and saw penalties and now I'm really pissed. If I was a player or someone on pitch I would kill refferee.

Comunque pensiamo all’Empoli e guardiamo avanti”.

Cristian Molinaro: “Due rigori incredibili. Soprattutto il primo, parla la dinamica da sola. Il pallone, colpito da Chiellini, si è fermato”.

We're Not Blaming Anyone - Legrottaglie

Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie talked about tonight's defeat against Napoli.

zoom - galleria Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie gave an interview to 'Napoli Magazine' following the 3-1 defeat at the Stadio San Paolo tonight.

"It was a bad defeat," he said. "The episodes penalised us, we're not used to that. Conceding three goals is not nice. It can happen to be advantaged, but also to be penalised. We realised something wasn't right.

"The referee made some mistakes; it can happen. We don't place the blame on anyone. We conceded two goals from penalties. Aside from [Walter] Gargano's goal, which surprised us, Napoli did not create any major chances.

"Let's not say we are in a crisis," he continued. "When it was 1-1 [Alessandro] Del Piero came close to scoring. Napoli didn't force Buffon into any extraordinary saves. It can happen to concede two penalties. It's not nice, but it can happen.

"We missed [Pavel] Nedved, as well as our coach on the bench (Claudio Ranieri was suspended after protesting last week during the match against Genoa)."

Danilo Pochini

this idiot is so dumb, how u not gonna blame anyone, the PKs were fuckin dives, and the first goal is his fault mostly, he was just standing there and let the guy set himself and shoot

Bravo to Gigli  finally someone with balls.

Now I want to see Collina and FICG reaction to theese comments. I'm wondering will they do something like they did to Adriano when they banned him for diving. However Gigli is also right about something, we will never get those three points back.

Do you really expect the players to come out say, 'this game was bought. Fuck the FIGC.'

Of course the players can't say much.

Colina will explain the new rules of football. "Dives are allowed against Juventus" .

David Trezeguet: "The two penalties do not merit to be commented upon, it is very clear what happened. We are very disappointed because we gave our best and till 1-1 played a great game. We went in front and conceeded a goal for an error made by ourselves. Still we shall look to Empoli and look forward."

Nicola Legrottaglie:" We are incredulous, we work all week, then these things happen. Bad days can happen to anyone and today it happened to Bergonzi(pezzo di merda). I'm disappointed even for the goal of 1-1, they passed through a gap in the middle, something that to us never happens. Maybe we weren't concentrated enough."

Cristian Molinaro: " Two incredible penalties. Especially the first one, you can just look at the movements only. The ball, hit by Chiellini, had stopped".

lets see how this is followed up by the rest of the board, the players, the coach and most importantly FIGC+the refs answer to all these doubts and explain these mistakes.

Didn't you here about the new book being launched: 1001 things to do to win against Juve. The top five are:

1) Blatently dive in the box, that even a blind 95 year old woman would be able to give a yellow to the diver
2) Surround the referee so if he hasn't given you a foul, goal, penalty or a red to a Juve player, you will intimidate him into doing it.
3) Do the worst fouls you can think of, and if a Juve player does 1/4 of that, roll on the floor for 5 minutes, then miraculously get up and complain to the ref till he sends him off.
4) Always hold onto the ball after a foul or kick the ball away...so when a Juve player comes for it and touches your arm, you jump onto the floor holding your face and rolling about for 5 minutes.
5) IF you see a Juve player running towards you, run into their arm and say he elbowed you in the face, this works even after the match is over as seen on 21/10/2007

Just because Ranieri isn't a player doesn't negate the fact that you come up with silly names. If I recall correctly you were part of the people amazed at Legro's recent form. You don't like him, never have? That's fine, but tell me where he made a blunder today? He's faced with talented Serie A attacks every week and thus far he's done an excellent job considering the condition of our defense so get of his dick already. Napoli had ONE good chance today, and they made it count; they tied up. The other goals had nothing do with Legro but everything to do extremely bad refereeing.

I do expect the best from Juve, but between us two I seem the only one to realize that we were just thrown into Serie B where we lost our star players and millions of dollars. Not to mention that now every fucking referee in the league is biased towards us. Rome wasn't built in a day, neither will Juve.

And what the hell does me liking Portugal have anything to do with this? Do you want me to talk about you being a police officer? If Legro is criticized for not fending off every attack, maybe we should criticize you for not stopping every drug dealer, prostitute, or speeder that gets away from you.
Napoli had 2 good chances today, and they both turned into goals..

did you see the game ??

If you did, then you would have seen Gargano easily run past him, and convert...and you would have seen Gigi hung to dry on the other goal when Zala got by Legro, and had to come sliding out to stop Zala (which turned into a pk)

if it pains you that much that I said Legro should stick to training, and stay away from the microphones and cameras, and that I said RUINeri, then I've got 4 words for you- dont read my posts

and you're police analogy was pretty weak, pal
