actually i noticed a major improvement by juventus on the second half, which was a bit too late, but they had 0 shots on net in the first half, while they had 2 in the second, they were actually getting the ball past our half

I dont think we should over react about Capello's favorites. To be fair Lippi had the same kind of attitude towrds Del Piero when he was playing poorlya and inconsistanly for about 3 years straight, yet not even an on fire striker (ex Di Viao) could take DP's spot whenever DP was available.

So, although I agree with what everybody is saying about subbing Zlatan and Capello not having his eyes wide open(as it is what I think too), I dont think he is doing terribly so we shouldn't insult him too much.

Oh Please Von....Lippi didn't had Zlatan,Mutu....we had Micco and Di Vaio...They actually did replace Dp before many times when he was injured, yet we didn't see something special from them.

In the last season, when Nedved is injured, we introduce a trident iimmediately, which worked wonders for us since we plicked up victories. To me this is a rushed solution and basically we ran out of depth, please prove me wrong when I say this. And Capello has a whole lot of time in the pre-season friendlies, and in same Serie A matches against weak games to try this, yet for some weird reason he never tried the system as mentioned. Who knows that it may yield positive results?
