Sheva will not play against us, but Vieri could cause us some problems. He is a very strong player who can cause problems for our defenders, and some ppl might not know that he actually can run pretty fast. On a whole Milan is a dangerous team with quality players all around. Gilardino is on fine form now and Inzaghi still has the passion on him. Out of 3 attackers we must be careful no matter who gets the nod.
About 2 ur aim of goals, it is very hard to score even 1 goal in San Siro. The Milan players will be very focused and determine to catch up with us. You r right about Chiellini and Gianni, and the main problem is still at the RB position, I think I would put Blasi there even though I know that Blasi is very shaky. I think he should be able to shut down Kaladze/Serginho. Pessotto is another option due to his experience, but I fear that he can't keep up with Kaladze. If Serginho is in, introduce Blasi to stop him. Serginho has quite some pace and his crosses r heinous, so 1 must look out for that.
Juz like last year when we score 1 goal in the 1st half, hell break loose in the 2nd half and Milan put on 6 attackers on us. During corners even Nesta and Stam went into the box and try to put a header in. During that time we defended outselves so hard.
So I think the best situation is to be focused no matter what. With Emerson and Vieira present, we should control the midfield and try to threaten Milan. I think it would be nice if we score in the 70th minute, and we defend like mad. But 1 thing which worries me is Chimenti.

Methinks capello will play his preferred first eleven for this one bar GK and RB.

why do most of you not like chiementi. I mean he is our reserve keeper and had never made any trouble. And I have to say that I can not remeber a big mistake from him, from the games he played. you can criticize his way of playing or his performence but it is not OK to call him monkey because of his look.

Milan playmaker Kaka believes there is plenty of room for optimism ahead of this weekend’s crunch clash with Juventus.
The bianconeri have made an unbeaten start to the season and are many people’s favourites for the game, but Kaka thinks they are far from perfect.
"Juve are a really great side especially in defence but the Champions League defeat in Munich proved they are not invincible," he told the Italian press.
"Emerson and Vieira are good players but both have some weaknesses. I will be looking to make space. The game is as balanced as the great Champions League clash, it has a special motivation."
He also had a word for Alberto Gilardino who is now scoring with regularity since his move from Parma.
"As I said about Gilardino once he broke the ice he wouldn’t stop scoring," added the Brazilian. "He’s formidable as well as very relaxed and assured."

Juventus boss Fabio Capello has played down the importance of the Milan match by insisting it is ‘not decisive’ to the outcome of the title race.
Speaking ahead of Saturday night’s eagerly-awaited showdown between his Serie A charges and second-placed Milan, Capello admitted that the psychological spoils were at stake but nothing more at this early stage.
"It’s an important game but not a decisive one," he said. "It has more of a psychological value than anything else."
The Juve tactician, who guided Milan to four League titles in five years as well as a Champions League win during the 1990s, has set an Italian record already this season by masterminding nine straight wins since the start of the campaign.
Victory number 10 would put his side eight points clear at the top of the table – a fact that is not lost on the 59-year-old.
"A win would be an important one as it would put us eight points ahead, but we are still only at the early stages," he added. "The title race is a long one."
It certainly will be for the chasing pack if Juve triumph at the San Siro. Given his side’s incredible run of form, Don Fabio is confident that his side has got what it takes to win three points.
What gives him even more belief is the fact that his side is stronger than the one that beat Milan 1-0 in this fixture last term.
"We are not afraid because last year we won and we didn’t have either Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Patrick Vieira in the side. This year we do and because of that we don’t feel inferior to anyone," he argued.
"Our strength is that we approach every side with the same attitude and with the intention of winning. We know what our strengths are and we play with great conviction."

well for me i think chimenti look actually better.And i just like the way he takes his goal kick.He instantly makes a counter attack with it.
He looks more confident than abbiati, although abbiati's relfexes are much better.Since chimenti isnt young.
abt wat Kaka said..i hope both of puma and paddy r in the top of their game, and show him that he is facing the best midfield partnership in the world.Basically he will eat up his words.i hope.

Wednesday (Giff-Blog: Manchester United Is Screwed) I wrote about Sir Alex Ferguson’s statements regarding Chelsea’s superior financial resources, the likes of which will prohibit, per Fergie himself, Manchester United competing with the Blues for many transfer targets.
I lit into Fergie a bit about his statements, because it sounded to me that Fergie, rather than trying to convince a player to join Manchester United by citing all the wonderful things like history and tradition, to name a couple, going for United, he has conceded that Chelsea’s wealth will preclude the Red Devils from competing with Chelsea in the transfer market.
To help hammer the point home, I made references to the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor. Many of you commented on these remarks, possibly, in your minds, affirming some common misconceptions people tend to have about Americans: that we’re stupid.
I even got the following email from a reader:
“How dumb are you, Germans bombed Peal Harbor, huh?”
I responded kindly and if you wish to know how dumb I am, send me an email and I’ll politely respond and educate you a bit about an American rite of passage called Animal House.
But what does this have to do with football?
Ahead of this weekend’s mouth-watering clash between AC Milan and Juventus, Kaka was respectful, yet brash enough to come out and say, “Emerson and Vieira are good players but both have some weaknesses.”
After this weekend maybe Kaka will get an email like this from Fabio Capello:
“How dumb are you, Emerson and Vieira have some weaknesses, huh?”
What do you think?
