@ Salv,
Pirlo does it on every match. Every single one. That's part of how midfielders, especially playmakers, protect the ball. I mentioned Boban and Zidane earlier because they were doing this almost in every single duel with the DMCs from the opposing team.
It's a lunacy to even send this to prova TV.
I was aware that he has to push himself around a lot, it's just that I remembered something from the Catania game and Milan never bothered to ask for a ban to miss the match Pirlo would play against them. It's reactionary BS.

I didn't read your post regarding Zidane and Boban, but I would have pulled up the example of Zizou if asked about others that do that sort of thing.

Without all the melodrama surrounding the game, as stand alone incidents, you would be looking at:

3-5 game ban for Mexes (Chivu got 4 for punching Rossi in the face)
3-5 game ban for Muntari (see above, he strikes him three times)
No ban for Pirlo, it's not even a free kick offence on the pitch

Any PArt of the body closer to goal than the last defender ...is OFFSIDE. The picture clearly shows that.

And as for Milan acting stupid, of course they did. But I'd love to know how you guys would act if the ball went in the goal by 1 meter, and also how would your players and coach act if that happened? Would everyone be cool and calm? When a call gets blown that badly, and then multiple calls get blown throughout the game, there is bound to be problems, fights, etc. Is that not normal?
So you've pulled out the big guns and used wikihow, okay then, I'll use the FIFA rules. Here's a screenshot.

Guys, i have a question, the Pirlo incident was in front of the refree who saw it clearly and didn't indicate there was the slightest foul, do they have the right to review it even if the refree saw it happen and didn't call anything ?

I was just thinking the same, I'm fairly sure in England that is the case, it certainly is when a referee gives a yellow card, it can't be appealed to a red etc. In Italy nothing would surprise me.

yeah that is really strange
the reff is 2 meters away from pirlo and doesn't even give the foul , while they want a 3 match ban

Is that guy still saying Matri was offside? Two good goals were disallowed, one on each side. This much is obvious, but even with them it still would have been a 2-2 draw in the end.

Alen, I need your help. Can you give me a compiled post with links to footage for the non-existent penalties that Milan got this season?
There was a vid posted like 9 pages back. :D

Good question, I would think not. The fact the ref allowed play says it all. The muntari & mexes incidents the play would have been stopped for sure if any official saw it.
