Yes 3 points would have been nice but 1 point away okay. Right now 6 teams in running for 4 CL spots. Motta gets till season's end for any good/bad from me. One aspect I like is the going with some inexperienced youthful players.
We obviously shouldn’t settle for a draw nor be content about it but ultimately it was an away game at San Siro in which we’ve had key players missing and that was played straight after the international break, making it somewhat acceptable, otherwise what i did not like is that we’ve again seen much of the same as from all of the other draws throughout the season, meaning we’re not really fixing much.

Well a draw away to Milan isn’t a bad result I think we all agree, but it’s also worrying team struggles at home like vs Cagliari, stuttgart and Parma

And overall it hasnt beaten a big team except lazio. But it’s not beating the small teams either which is a very worrying sign. I don’t think this team will qualify for CL

Apologies in advance for my rant - I'm pissed.

What a fucking shit game. Both teams should be docked a point for that performance. It is almost match-fixing - you could tell both managers were happy with a 0-0 draw from the 1st minute. Disgusting and terrible advertisement for Italian football.

I expected more from Motta in this game. Did we pay €60m so Koop can play as a false 9? Put Weah or Yildiz there FFS. What were we waiting for? For Milan to score and then we would've been chasing the game?

€200m spent in the summer and we're scoring less goals than last season, and at risk of missing top 4. I understand it was international break - but did this not apply to Atalanta and Inter who both obtained 3 points today?

Playing away at the San Siro sounds scary - until you saw Milan's dogshit line-up. Come on, they looked like shithouse. Milan are wounded prey and we should have gone for the kill here IMO.

Both teams played with zero intensity. It's embarrassing. Then they wonder why their pants get pulled down in UCL games.

Good post. I’m sure many share your frustration but be ready there will be more of these posts to come in future games. It’s worrying that juve best matches were first two games back in August and September .

Ok it was a boring game, but when i hear members here say something like "well deserved point at tough away turf, I'll take it", I imagine killing myself.

That’s just the standard that many got accustomed to recently, we are in transition, have a new coach and bunch of new players with a younger core so expectations have been lowered, although i absolutely agree that they’ve been lowered way too much tbh…

Then again with all things considered there’s no reason for us to not at least challenge, looking at Ac Milan they also have a new coach and many new faces, so does Napoli who also even replaced(downgraded) from prime Osimhen to washed up Lolkaku, whereas Inter despite looking strong on paper are literally bankrupt and with plenty of issues of their own to deal with, while regarding Atalanta i thought we’ve weakened them when taking their best scoring midfielder but they still play as if nothing changed, although luckily their inconsistency didn’t change either.

How do you rate his work, the work of Motta and 8-8-1 so far?
Not bad, obviously, since we were 2 huge vlahovic misses from being in first place before this match. I mean the guy missed 2 open net chances and we lost 4 points .
A 12 million striker , lol.
Bremer's injury is really hurting us.

Come on man, english games are highly entertaining, this was unwatchable, not a single moment worth noting.
pl has 3 things over serie a:
- intensity. huge difference
- visuals. broadcasts simply look better with the quality of the pitches and most of the stadiums are relatively new, purpose built football stadiums
- open games. today the last was leading against the first, ipswich challenge utd, most games can be close

games are highly entertaining though is a bit of a generalization. i don't enjoy most games as they are often a high tempo mess. if you take away the intensity, this ipswich - utd is a snoozefest between two meh teams. bad passing, bad finishing, terrible defending, low technical level. it's fast paced and that's all

there are of course excellent games, but i honestly prefer the football in the spanish and italian leagues in general
