Man..this Momo issue has really ruined my day. I feel like we've become what I used to see Roma and valencia type teams as some 3 or 4 years ago

not possible, same for others on loan. But i know he will come in a summer
It is possible dude, but thay (RUineri) think that he is not ready...OK?
But if Juve realy wonted him back, they can re-call him or Marchisio (injured) in this transfer window...

you will feel much better when you see how he's breaking opponent's midfield.
Stop :spliff:

Best formation against Livorno is :

---------------Buffon

Sali---Grygera---Legro---Molinaro

------Nocerino---Zanetti------

Marco-------Tiago------Del Piero
.............(Del Piero)....(Nedved)
------------Trezegol-----------

PS: Don't know if Buffon, Sali and Nedved are fit...

you're still putting tiago in the line-up? i don't think ranieri even acknowldeges himas a person anymore :D

anyway, i would also like to see a 4-3-3, but with only 4 forwards in the squad, it wouldn't be wise to start 3 of them and have only one on the bench. also, let's not forget our CL encounter against the snakes next week.

Buffon will be at the goal

In defense we have : Salihamidzic, Legrottaglie, Molinaro, Grygera and maybe Birindelli who has some minor injury

In midfield: Zanetti, Nocerino, Nedved, Palladino and maybe Tiago if he's not sold until Sunday

In attack we have Del Piero, Trezeguet and Iaquinta

Without Biri and Tiago we have 12 senior players ( 4 defenders, 4 midfielders and 3 attackers)*

That makes the defense consisted of :
Salihamidzic-Grygera-Legro-Molinaro a sure bet

Nocerino and Zanetti will play for sure, Nedved on the left, Trez and Del Piero in attack so the only unknown is Palladino as MR or Iaquinta as the third attacker ?

* plus the keepers

WTF is up with all these injuries
Call it bad luck or bad menaging but we're in some big trouble

Andrade, Marchionni, Chiellini, Camoranesi, Zebina are injured
Almiron, Criscito,Boumsong are out
Tiago will also be sold most probably
Birindelli is a ??? because he left the match yesterday after a clash with one Inter player

I hope Tiago and Birindelli will be available on Sunday because if they aren't we'll have only one of Palladino/Iaquinta and one of the goalkeepers from our senior squad on the bench.

Livorno - Juventus Preview

What: Serie A

Who: Livorno - Juventus
When: 27/01/2008 19:30 CET

Where: Stadio Picchi, Livorno

This game is a potential banana skin for the Bianconeri as Livorno seem to have turned their fortunes around this season. Juventus will need to be at their very best if they are to avoid another negative result.

Juventus cannot afford to lose

The last time Juventus played in Livorno was almost two years ago and the Bianconeri beat the Granata 3-1 with a brace from David Trezeguet and a goal from Alessandro Del Piero. Last season they did not play as a result of Juventus’ demotion to Serie B because of Calciopoly.

This season both sides met at the Olimpico and the Bianconeri trounced their opponents 5-1. However a repeat of their performance in August is highly unlikely. Claudio Ranieri’s men have drawn their last two Serie A games, Livorno meanwhile are unbeaten in nine. Juventus can take comfort from their record with the side from Tuscany.

The Amaranto have not beaten the Old Lady in almost 67 years and so Juventus should be confident of getting themselves back to form with a win at the Armando Picchi stadium.

The Bianconeri have been woeful recently and some of their performances have been way below the standard that everyone expects to see from a side as grand as the Old Lady. After a good start to the season Ranieri’s side have slowly started to show signs of weakness, in particular at the back and it seems that this tricky situation will only get worse given that Giorgio Chiellini, Jorge Andrade and Jonathan Zebina are all still out with injury.

Juventus are currently a massive 12 points away from Inter who sit comfortably at the top of Serie A. Roma are five points ahead and with Milan, Fiorentina and Udinese all chasing the Champions League. It seems as if Juve really have to gear themselves up and come away from the Picchi with Maximum points. Anything less will surely mean the Bianconeri will struggle for the Champions League places. The Rossoneri have three games in hand and given their recent return to form it will not be long before they are knocking on Juventus unstable door.

Ranieri had told the world that Juventus would be fighting for the Scudetto this season but it seems as if the coach got his hopes up a bit too high and his comments seem to have back fired, much to the delight of Juve’s closest rivals, who will no doubt be hoping the Bianconeri slip up in Livorno.

Livorno looking to continue good form

Giancarlo Camolese’s arrival in Livorno has much to do with the club’s change in fortunes since October. The Amaranto have not lost since their 3-2 defeat at Parma and have won five and drawn four. Confidence at the Picchi is high and this can prove to be Juve’s downfall on Sunday night. Livorno have won their last two games and they are going through a revival period. They are up to 13th place and have rediscovered themselves. In just a few months they have gone from being relegation strugglers to possible UEFA Cup contenders.

Juventus will need to be wary of Francesco Tavano. The former Empoli striker has hit the net nine times this season and no doubt he will be hoping to add to his tally against an unreliable Juve backline. Tavano has scored three goals in his last two games and so his confidence will be high. Juventus will be relying on Gianluigi Buffon to be at his best against the Livorno striker.

Livorno’s record against Juve is not the best but Camolese’s men have the chance to start changing it as they know only too well that Ranieri’s men are going through a tough period. This could be the Amaranto’s chance to put even more pressure on the Bianconeri. An upset might just be on the cards. Juventus don’t really like playing against opposition lower down in the table and this was proved with poor performances against Catania and Sampdoria in their last two Serie A fixtures. Livorno will no doubt be ready to exploit Juve’s weaknesses come Sunday night.
