yeah.. the worst that could happen only that we will tirelessly wait and hope only to have our hope shattered in the end... :(

or

we can change our objective to other competition and used that as an excuse ;)

i am just joking.. of coz we wont go down that easily... Roma will surely lose some point.... all we need to do is keep an 100% record from now on ;)..........................:( :scared:
thats the difficult task. Last season, both milan and Inter tried desesperately to reach Juventus, which maintined a good rhytm till the end. Both milan and inter lost hopes in the way and they lost.

Hope this will not happen this time.

ok ok .. enuff with the jokes...:p

we are only 6 points adrift in the middle of the season .. not really a disaster...

but we surely need to buck up as we seriusly cant expect heavily for this Roma to drop points...it will be another looonggg exhausting season i tell you....

yeah...100% points.. with another round of MIlan,Inter, Lazio, Roma... using that defense.....:(
taken into account our last meetings with :

1. loosing to inter was a slip up :D (november is not our month :D)
2. a draw with roma who got lucky with a l8 equalizer
3. a draw with milan who got dida who's in the form of his life...plus gr8 defenders
4. loosing to lazio which has always been our jinx team

now...that wasnt so bad wasnt it...? :D but, our D really sucks....but there's always room for improvement....all is not lost......yet

Man, we will see who is on the top after 34 matchdays! In Italy you never know, and if we will get back Nedved, Thuram and Tacchi + hopefully Rodriguez, we can do it!

NOTHING IS DONE YET. WE CAN STILL WIN EVERYTHING!!!!!

i saw the games too. ok...maybe i'm making excuses here but :

roma: we were damn tired, after euro qualifiying (which nearly all our players played for their respective country...while roma?). and then we had gala IIRC b4 that as well and we had to work damn hard to win it.....players are not robots. we did quite well for 22pairs of tired legs

inter: yea, we were outplayed. just wasnt ur day. midfield was shite, D was crap....i sed that we deserve to loose that game

milan: we actually played better than milan, just cannot get past dida who were superb that day

lzaio: totally deserve to loose, but 2nd half we played much2 better..but it was too little too l8 IMO

I knew we weren't going to get defeated as we attacked till the final whistle. I'm only disappointed with Lippi's substitutions!

I was stunned when Zalayeta was introduced for the injured Legro. Birindelli would slot back to defence and Zalayeta would take his place in the right of midfield. Looking at the bench a smarter move would be to push Camoranesi - a natural right midfielder - in that position, or simply play Miccoli on the right and let Trezeguet play upfront. Zalayeta used to play in the right of midfield alright but a Coppa match is a completely different story, this is more serious as Serie A points are on stake. We lost the ball to Lecce every single time Zalayeta possessed the ball. He couldn't dribble past a single player, nor lay a single cross, let alont play a single accurate pass. All characteristics of a winger or midfielder !!

However when Camoranesi and Trezeguet were brought in late in the second half we suddenly looked lively and scored a goal. I really believe if that move was done in the beginning of the second half we would have more time to act, especially if the Zalayeta substitution wasn't wasted.

Now we go to the X-mas break in a bad mood, a full 6 points behind Roma and it even get's worse. A win tonight for Inter (against Lazio) will see them leapfrog us and take the 2nd position, behind Roma !!

I dont think that the zalayeta subs was a totaldisgrace. OK, ihave to admit that, like you, i was not expecting that chance. But zalayeta at least did one or 2 passes anda great shot on goal.

After all, we cant blame him when the whole midfield was non existant.

hmmm...we have a totally different view then DPF as i feell that all our subs played a better part than the starters...

i could say that zalayeta is our best player in the first half... as he is the only player that seems sure what to do instead of waiting to be fed..

when zala enters, we switched to 4231 with zala on the right side of the 3.. it seems like a nice plan to attacks as we withdraw a defender for forward minded player...until Iuliano screwd it up... it was disasterous as the Cb loss criplled both our flank players in Zambrotta and Birindelli.... of course maybe Camoranesi a good option insted of Zala but maybe at that time Lippi still have doubts over Camo...

my only complain with subs thoug is DP for Camo....as i sadi numerous time before , it should have been DV..

One or two passes .. that's it ?? Ghedafi junior could've made better than that !!

How many passes did Camo make in the 10 minutes he played? How many chances did he create ?? Numerous !!

Zalayeta was terrible today, that's why Lippi shifted him to the left and concentrated on building on attacks from the right rather than on the left .. I can't believe Lippi opted for him over Camoranesi, I wouldn't have played Zalayeta even if he was the only remaining player on the bench .. Lippi had many options like I already mentioned (Camo, Miccoli) but he went for Zala instead

I don't blame Zala for the loss, as clearly, the whole team didn't function well as a whole .. but Lippi could've done better with the choice and timing of subs (I still believe that if Treze and Camo were introduced earlier, we could've won the match, even with Iuliano sent-off) ..

Did you see the game. You could actually see on the faces of the rest of the team when he gets the ball. It's as if they know that nothing's gonna happen.

and he had a bloody tap in :wallbang:

right....even we have zala and maresca to support attack..micolli and di vaio are still uninspired in the first half...there is no link between attacker n midfielder in the first half....

lecce defenders and gk is really rock since they alwayz attempt brave block...
