should have won it in the first half, lecce had the better chances in the 2nd

the first completely allegriesque match this season, it had all: strong start without scoring, hit the wall physically in the 2nd, stupid subs, lucky lead, shitting the bed at the end, couldn't hold on to the lead

i mainly blame it on the injuries and the tiredness, but game management is worrying too

There is no need to sub players in for the sake of giving them minutes if the entire team becomes disjointed. It was a tight game and the kids that came on were clearly not the required level, hence why we conceded. It's the fine details, Conceicao and Yildiz kept their defenders pegged back, but the subs removed all threat, so Lecce pushed up and we couldn't break out from the back. With another 10 minutes, Lecce would've scored another.

Absolutely speechless with how it finished, for a moment there it looked as if luck might be by our side after the deflected goal but instead we’ve gone out of our way to allow Lecce to create chance after chance and eventually got punished for it…

I think the overall lack of experience and absent cohesion of the XI that ended the game ultimately cost us.

The Conceicao sub was terrible. He was the only player getting us up the pitch. Plus he comes back to help defensively.

The Conceicao sub was terrible...
not only that

gatti is levels above danilo and rouhi, and danilo should never again play in the middle (or anywhere else for that matter but as a rb at least he didn't do visible harm today)

then again we have 8 players out injured, and out of those, at least 5 would have played today if avaliable
