Sucks that this weekend it would be beneficial for us if Milan, Inter and Fiorentina win. What a timeline to live in.
We're in a different place right now.

I think part of the problem with peoples' expectations on this forum is people act like we just came off 9 straight Scudetto. Like it was just last year was that 9th Scudetto. Guys, that was a LONG time ago.

Guys, we're in our banter era. Making CL, trying to fix our past financial mistakes so we can be a breakeven club who sometimes overspends, these are our goals. We need to be in the place competitively because we don't play in the English Premier League.

Having rivalries overcome a beneficial match is a position for a rich man. We are not currently the rich man. Back when we were leading the table, we could afford to always wish the worst on our enemies. Now, we cannot afford that luxury. So yes, I hope Inter beats Lazio for us. That helps us today. Do I wish the best ever on Inter, the fucking corrupt club that had members orchestrate sending us down to Serie B? Of course not.

And I hope someday soon were are back in the position where wishing our greatest rivals the worst results is a luxury we can afford. These next two weeks are not those days.
