i wanted to see MUTU-CHIELLINI clash but i guess we have to wait til next year :smoke: i think it's the right time to play tiago 90 mins .. i think he'll show his skills playing with camoranesi and sissoko in midfield .. eventhough i'd like to see nocerino rather than momo sissoko .. i think and hope ranieri will play with this formation

Buffon

And you know what will happen? Tiago will be rusty, low in confidence, not match fit and play a horrible game. Ranieri will feel vindicated about not playing him previously 'Me Claudio, me really clever'
exactly, sometimes, ranieri jsut stuns me. if he didnt want tiago who did then?

Alen:

Channel 4 match report Fiorentina-Livorno

,,...Fiorentina were furious when Semioli was stretchered off with a sprained ankle promoted by Pasquale's crunching tackle. The Livorno midfielder also got injured in that move and eventually made way for David Balleri.

There was more bad news, as Pazzini was booked and will be suspended for the clash with Juventus...."

My sole wish for the game is that Sissoko gives only short passes to someone who can do better distribution. That's the reason why I want Tiago and Camoranesi to work close to Sissoko, both can work on the ball and provide killer passes, chips or crosses. And with three forwards, it becomes a rather easier task to beat Fiorentina.

I like this one, but I'd only switch Birindelli with Molinaro. Not because I think Molinaro is the better but we need some speed in this game and I'm afraid Birindelli wont be there for the 90min.

Papa Waigo fills Viola gap

Ndiaye Papa Waigo has set his sights on catching Juventus after scoring his first Serie A goal.

The winger, who arrived at Fiorentina from Genoa during the January transfer window, scored the only goal of the game against Livorno on Wendesday, which closed the gap on third place Juventus to four points.

The 24-year-old said: "To score was wonderful and for me to do it with a header made it a real event.

"The win has filled us with satisfaction and now there is Juventus - an important match where winning points is vital."

The Viola been further weakened ahead of trip to the Turin giants on Sunday with the injury to Franco Semioli, following on the news that top scorer Adrian Mutu wil be missing for a month after damaging knee ligaments against AS Roma last Sunday.

President Andrea Della Valle, however, remained upbeat despite the setbacks and confirmed the club is intent on finishing in the top four.

He said: "We're not inferior to the Bianconeri and we'll give it a shot because we're not going to sit back in the race for the Champions League."
