Exactly. Whoever is in better form between Del Piero and Iaquinta starts next to Trezeguet, simple as that. Fuck that super sub shit, start the players who are playing the best.
I've been saying that since the beginning, rotate smartly according to form and opponent.

Nedved and Molinaro were our 2 best players over the 90 minutes. Molinaro actually delivered quite a few nice crosses, and made numerous runs which caused Atalanta problems. He didn't get caught out either, which only shows how hard he works. Alot of u are tough on him, but his work ethic is good, and he has been slowly improving. Nedved was his typical self, MOTM.

Legro/Chiellini and Nocerino/Zanetti were consistent as always (special mention to Nocerino).

Palladino had a tough game. His crosses were off, but at least he got in positions to cross, which cant be said for his replacement, Marchionni. Palladino was poor, but calling for his head is a bit to much. He in entitled to a bad game. Lets not forget Nedved and Del Piero were off for the first 2 months of the season.

Del Piero was fantastic, and gave our offense the imagination it was missing in and around the Atalanta box in the 1st half.

Zebina's yelllow, what an idiot. He puts the team at risk taking foolish card's like that. Hopefully Ranieri says something.

Its frustrating that it took that long, but Atalanta are a pretty good side and made us work hard for the win. They were stubborn at the back, and almost came close on a few occassions (Buffon with a nice save early in the match). Even if it ended in a tie, I dont think we were poor. We had our chances, and the players worked hard, unlike vs Empoli a few days ago.

I am very surprised that few of you are saying that our performance was bad. We were owning them for most of the game , we created many good chances for scoring (over 10), and they had 2 good shots on goal...
And someone here mentioned we should learn from them some things?? Its much easier to play on contra than what we did.. Also , they are not that bad team, 6th on table with a game in a hand.
When will you be happy?
I also think Ranieri prepared well this team , and handled all pressure very well so far..Also I am positive that our game against Lazio will be even better..
Common , we are 3rd , and very solid..Players playing better every game, even Molinaro, Zebina, Alex, Neddy all were above expectations today..

I want Tiago to play as well, but im sure his time will come..
good post man, +rep
Only that I don't think Tiago's time will come although I still have some hope.

dunno guys...maybe i feel Tiago is great...I agree that Zanetti is very very solid but a formation with 2 DMFs causes problems and we cannot score so easily. But atm Zanetti > Tiago
ya the problem is that with zanetti and noce we really miss something in attack. but with just one of them we really got problems in our defences.

There were enough chances to score today, it wasn't the midfield's fault that we did not put some more in. Moreover, we scored 29 goals in 14 games which is a lot. No need to change something. Maybe Tiago could be tried as RMF since we have some problems there atm.

Just how many times did Nocerino win us back possession ?
What Vieira and Emerson together were doing perfectly, Nocerino is doing by himself.
I love this kind of players who can't stop running for 90 minutes.

Tough choice with Nedved and Molinaro also having a very good match but my MOM is Nocerino.

Btw, this was our 3rd in a row serie A clean sheet. And we played 3 of the better teams in the league, Palermo, Milan and Atalanta ;)

A match with Mlinaro as the best??

Thanks God I didn't watch that.

actually it wasnt so bad. however, since vinnie doesnt seem to be anywhere, let me try and recreate his match analysis :vinny:

"we always complain that trezeguet doesnt get enough chance. he got them today and we saw how he missed them. Ranieri sucks"
