Don't forget Atalanta are sixth. They had a very good organisation and shut Trez away, except for two chances.

What a game, Nedve finally broke his dick with a superb shot. After sublime performance against Palermo, Milan and Atalanta he managed to be the decisive man to bring us the victory against an opponent that managed to clear all our chances and we tried a lot of chances in many different ways.

Apart from Nedved who take the MOM award without any competition, special mention goes to Nocerino who totally destroyed Atalanta's moves and made the defenders job much easier. Another person who was there all the time trembling the Atalanta defenders at every cross was Molinaro. He managed to find Trezeguet in all his headers, in the first half he combined perfectly with Nedved and this did not change when Del Piero came in as he mangaged understand both players.

Legrottaglie and Chiellini did an excellent job and Buffon was there all the time to catch Atalanta's balls.

I watched the game and I must stay that I'm pretty dissapointed the way we played. We have no creativity at all.

There is few thing I would like to note:
1) Alex must be starter !!!
2) Iaquinta should be our super sub
3) Marchionni is average at best
4) Zebina should visit psychiatrist again
5) Tiago shouldn't come for last minute and a half, it's a little humilliating.

-The only positive from this match is a result and nothing else.

-The bad thing is how Secco and Ranieri will say again that we have excellent group of players and how we don't need any renforcements. Cuz they have faith in this team and with a little luck we will compete for Scudetto till the end

Iaquinta should have stayed on... even if he doesnt play well, he wins high balls and keeps us further up in the field. Making two subs at once just fucked up the team's chemistry... ook them a good 20 mins to get back into the game.

I rate:
Buffon- 7 only had that Floccari ball, and he dealt with it easily
Zebina- 5 didnt support Palladino or Marchionni, left them outnumbered on offense. lost his cool towards the end.
Legro- 6
Chiellini- 6
Molinaro- 7 this is for all those who said the guy cant cross. He had an amazing game in IMO. just look at our right side and give him a break
Zanetti and Nocerino- 6 didnt control midfield as they should
Palladino- 5- few bad crosses, but i equally blame the rb for not supporting him properly
Nedved- 8 flawless performance
Iaquinta- 6
Trezeguet- 6 missed a few 1/2 chances early on... b/c hez Trez, i expect him to bag at least one of those

Del Piero- 6 decent, but nthng special

Beh, it looks like we change our minds too quickly. One day Del Piero must be a super sub and the other day it's Iaquinta

Ranieri is doing well, imo. The one who plays better should get the starting place next to Trez.
So far it was Iaquinta now it's Del Piero. I believe Ranieri will do exactly that and we'll see Trez-DP partnership at Olimpico on Saturday
