I'm so glad we scored the goal finally. Otherwise it would be 
all day. We created dozens of chances especially in the first half but also in the 2nd. This win is as deserved as possible, we were owning Atalanta for most of the game.
Man of the match for me is Neddy, not only because of the goal, but also because he was all over the pitch playing intelligent passes and let his teammates look really good, for example Molinaro who played good.
Ranieri's subs were risky and as seen later, only one of them was useful but maybe not necessary. To me, Iaquinta did not look that bad in the first half, but Il Capitano was better when he came, Atalanta had huge problems to handle him and stop him from setting up chances for the others. Often their only way out seemed fouls which resulted in two yellow cards for Atalanta and a couple of FK's.
Palladino had a poor first half, but after all, Marchionni looked even worse, since Palla was at least able to keep posession and had some ideas while Marchionni looked just clueless.
Nocerino continued his great play and put up another decent performance, some very good actions in both offence and especially in defence.
Trezeguet should have scored when he had the great chance in front of an almost empty goal...doesn't miss these too often, very active.

What a game, Nedved finally broke his duck with a superb shot. After sublime performance against Palermo, Milan and Atalanta he managed to be the decisive man to bring us the victory against an opponent that managed to clear all our chances and we tried a lot of chances in many different ways.
Apart from Nedved who take the MOM award without any competition, special mention goes to Nocerino who totally destroyed Atalanta's moves and made the defenders job much easier. Another person who was there all the time trembling the Atalanta defenders at every cross was Molinaro. He managed to find Trezeguet in all his headers, in the first half he combined perfectly with Nedved and this did not change when Del Piero came in as he mangaged understand both players.
Legrottaglie and Chiellini did an excellent job and Buffon was there all the time to catch Atalanta's balls.
